I'm trying to grow my hair out after having it short for a very long time. Does anyone know any tricks to help make it grow faster? Things you can do at home and preferably cheap would be best. Thanks!

My 3 year old found my nail polish stash and decided it would be fun to paint her bedroom walls with hot pink and a bit of my living room with black. Anyone know how to get it out? My walls are textured so nail polish remover won't work because it won't get in the crevices and will also take the paint off. Can I just buy a small can of interior paint and paint over the spots with the nail polish? We have inspections in our apartments next month so I need to fix it by then somehow.

Ok so about a week and a half ago (10 days to be exact) I went to the doctor and got the Mirena IUD contraceptive put in. I didn't have any cramps or pain or discomfort at all afterwards, but I did start spotting a little bit. It went on for a couple days, then stopped for a day or two and has started again. I know it's not my period because I've already had it for the month and it's not time for it again also the bleeding is not nearly as heavy as a period, but enough for me to wear a panty liner and it's not as dark colored. I read in the pamphlet they gave me that there may be spotting between periods and irregular periods for the first few months. So I'm wondering, is this just a normal part of my body getting used to the IUD, or should I go see my doctor...or at least call and ask? Thanks!

So I hear that when you do extacy, you shouldn't ever have sex while you're on it because it will be so good that it won't feel good to you anymore when you're sober. So if any of you have done it, is this true? Does it really completely just ruin it for you? Just curious...thanks!

Ok so...I haven't seen my boyfriend in a whole week and he's going to come spend a couple days at my house tomorrow. The problems is after not seeing him for that long, I'm really gonna wanna get intimate with him but I started my period on Saturday so that kinda ruined my plans. Now I'm fully aware it's ok to have sex on your period but what I'm wondering is how do I go about asking him if he's ok with it or getting him to be ok with it? Obviously if it really grosses him out, I'm not gonna make him do anything, but I'm just wondering if there's something I can do or say to help him be open to the idea?

I have major trouble sleeping at night, then conviently by the time morning rolls around I get tired enough to want to fall asleep. I've tried staying up all night and all day the next day to go to bed early but I always end up waking up in the middle of the night anyway and am not usually able to fall back asleep. For some reason I sleep a lot better during the day, no idea why, I've just naturally always been a night owl. So here are my questions:

1. Any suggestions on what I can do to help get my sleep schedule right? And sleep aids don't usually help me much and when they do I just feel groggy the next day.

2. I have lots of stuff to do today, any suggestions for how I can stay awake and not just blow everything off and sleep. And also, caffeine doesn't do much in the way of keeping me alert either.

I know that sounds weird but I was lying on the couch with my eyes closed and still totally aware of what was going on around me, but I was almost in a dream like state, having a dream about going to this place where they were selling puppies and trying to pick one out, haha. Then I opened my eyes and I was back to reality. It was just very strange and I thought it was kind of interesting.

So I've been with my boyfriend for about a month now and he's a really great guy. He treats me amazing and I have so much fun when I'm with him and he makes me really happy. The problem is we live on complete opposite sides of town and neither one of us has a car. And a few days before we started dating he asked for more hours at his job so he's been working a lot. Long story short, we got into an argument about how we don't spend much time together and he promised me he'd try harder to get here and he would stop telling me he'd come over if he wasn't for sure if he really could. He's made promises to me a lot that he'd come hang out with me and then would have a reason why he couldn't. I understand it's hard for him to find rides here and stuff and I would go there, but it's even harder for me because I have a 2 1/2 year old. He told me he really cares about me a lot and I can see he does by how he is with me when we're together so I know that's not the problem. I really, really like him and don't wanna just give up, but I don't even feel like I have a bf sometimes when I only get to see him about once a week, I just don't think that's how it should be when two people are in a relationship. I'm fine with not being able to see him for a couple days or whatever but really, only seeing him once a week is a little ridiculous in my opinion. So...anyone have any suggestions on what I should do to better the situation? He already knows how I feel and I don't wanna make him mad by bringing it up all the time. Is this really as big of a deal as I'm making it, or should I just accept it and be glad I get to see him at all instead of not being with him? Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

I've heard these frogs can live peacefully with some community fish. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this and what fish would be safest to live with the frog. I've heard a single frog and a single Beta fish can be put together, but I've heard Betas can be aggressive so I'm hesitant to put one with the frog. I've also heard sometimes fish can mess up the pH levels in the tank and make the frogs sick. Any input is appreciated! Thanks!

I have an African Dwarf Frog. I just got him a new aqaruim. I just bought a thermometer for it so I can make sure the water stays warm enough for him. I've read these frogs like the water around 70-75 degrees or so. The thermometer is showing the water temp is just barely reaching 70, even though it's pretty warm in my apartment. I was wondering...should I get a heater for his tank or will this be warm enough for him? He seems to be happy. He swims around and is eating fine. But I wonder as the days get hotter, it's going to get uncomfortable for me in my apartment and I'm going to want to install my air conditioner, but his tank is near the window where the ac will be, that's the only place with a plug in for his tank filter that I can put him. So, if a heater is needed, what wattage should I get for a small tank of only a gallon and a half? Thanks!

Ok. So I have an African Dwarf Frog and today I decided to buy him a little bit bigger tank. I got a 1 1/2 gallon tank and it came with a filter. Then I read online that they shouldn't have a filter because they don't like the water vibrations and he could get caught in there. Does anyone know if this will cause him any problems? Should I cover the top of the filter with something? I read you can cover it with a piece of cheesecloth. Also, will the vibrations in the water from the filter really cause any problems for him or should it be ok? And do you think I should buy another frog to keep him company or will he be fine on his own? I had two to begin with, but one died. I was at Petco today and they didn't have African Dwarf Frogs, but there's one other pet store in town I can try. I've been reading about these frogs a lot online, but the information from different sites is conflicting. Any advice based on experience is appreciated, as is any other information for me you'd like to share. Thanks!

How old were your kids when they learned to feed themselves with a spoon? I don't mean when they first started learning, I mean when they actually mastered it and were able to feed themselves all the time.
