my assignment is to investigate the nurses role in dealing with obese patients,,,,,, just woundered if anyone could help with a good conclusion im thinking something along the lines of nurses in the community may be better to tackel obese patients than in hospitals ?????????????any help plz

im wondering if any one could give me any information, for the past 4 months my father has had swollen glands he has had 3 lots of antibiotics which ha vent worked he has visited the doctors 6 times in the last 2 weeks which he hasn't visited the doctor in 15 years before this, he has been to the doctors today and he told him he needs to go to the emergency dentist he visited the dentist and the dentist told him its not due to his teeth and could be blocked salivary glands, which he told me he hasn't been producing salver,im really worried has i no he is worried my mum has also told me he his losing weight which he his 10 stone 5 and 49 years old. at both sides of his adam apple looks like he has 2 footballsat either side any advice will be grateful

please help i have a 17 month oldlittle girl who is so forward its scary, when it comes to bed time i sit with her put her in hr cot read a book give her a kiss and walk out,well at least i try she crys that much she makes herself sick so i have been sitting wit her till she falls asleep which is easyiest but i no its not in the long run i weaned her off breast milk at 14 months shehas a hotchoc for bed soon has i take her upstairs she holds me tight and asks for my hand any suggestions will be appreciated

How do you get your child to fall asleep when its bedtime ... i have a 8 month old who screams when i put her in the cot she will not fall asleep on her own she has been falling asleep on the breast,,i think i am going to have to let her cry it out has i can not co sleep which i have done! please help

Hi i have a beautiful 8 month old little girl and a 8 year old beautiful girl i was just woundering how you feel about breast feeding im still breast feeding my 8 month old and she is very healthy and happy she wont entertain formular milk,, i feel like i have got as far has i can go now with breast feeding her as i am really tired and to be honest i would like a break or just one night were i can sleep i feel exhausted,, i thought has shes eating more solid foods the nursing would cut out slowly naturally but no way she likes her solids and breast milk.. I dont want to winge but i think i have done really well breast feeding her for this long ... do i just stop offering her the breast as people keep saying when shes hungary she will take formular!!! what did you do and what advise can you give me p.s im constantly moaning at my hubby bless him but im just exhausted

i would like to no how i get her onto formula milk ,ive tried her with the bottle and she wont entertain it someone told me to try her first thing in the morning as she will be reallt hungry. She is teething at the minute and cut her first tooth so sleepless nights!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im really tired and would like just one good nights sleep lol i think i have done really well breastfeeding her for this long as i only managed 4 weeks with my first, just feels like shes on the breast 24,7 lol

i have a 6 month old little girl she sleeps on her tummy with her bum up in the air and her face in her matress at first id put her on her back then she would roll back over has it scared me so much but now this is the only way she will sleep

my little girl used to sleep through the night but now for the past 2 3 weeks shes been getting up at 3 sometimes 3 than 5 im breastfeeding her. why wont she sleep through, what do i do as i am so tired. i have introduced solids to her in small amounts but her main source of food is still breast any information would be grateful. She normally has a bath between 6 and 7 than goes down around 8.30 after a rusk and breast than up again at 3 im so tired i put her on the breast than she goes straight back to sleep

i am currently breastfeeding my little girl whos turned 6 months this week,i am currently experimenting with solids too but at the minute shes waking around 3 in the morning i feel so tired and worried why she is not sleeping through she wont take a bottle so my partner can help i just dont no what else i can do, i no every baby is different as i only managed to breastfeed my first for 4 weeks so i am very proud of myself and feel so good about breast feeding i put her in her cot around 8 -9 she is so good falls to sleep on her own most of the time she is so pleasant all the time i feel bad for moaning,,,, im just really tired and wondered if anyone else has had the same trouble and how they overcome this, i thought that i could give her a formula bottle for bed to give myself a break but for the past two nights she wont entertain it,

my little darling is six months this week im breast feeding her but i am worried about solid foods sometimes she takes it and other times she doesnt, i give her the breast when ever she wants it should i be giving her breakfast dinner and tea and breast too as this seems a lot im just trying different foods at the minute such as rusks yogurts veg and fruit its a little confusing and should i be giving her more solids or less breast, i also give her juice from a sippy cup as she wont take a bottle please help information would be grateful
