Mr. NoFace
This band vs. this band?
Anyone else getting tired of those questions?
It's always a question asking the opinion of which band is better despite the fact that most of the questions have two bands that are completely different.
Hey, guys! Classic rock band from the late 60's vs mediocre metal band from the early 90's!
Who is better?

8 AnswersRock and Pop9 years agoEngine covered in coolants?
I was driving the other day and a peice holding two heater hoses together busted and my engine got covered in antifreeze.
I pulled over right away, had a friend take me to get the other peice, fixed it and filled the car back up with coolant and let it run a bit before I drove it.
However, the car has been acting weird ever since.
It's been acting sluggish. The check engine light has been blinking on and off, the electric guages are acting funny, the car has been sluggish and responds like ****.
It idles rough and takes a couple of seconds to respond when I take off.
This pisses me off because I just tuned it up myself and put new valve cover gaskets on it.
I did all of that right, so that isn't the problem. It ran fine until the damn hoses sprayed the engine.
Will this stuff dry up or burn off?
Please tell me that's the case.
5 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs9 years agoHeavy Metal fans! Have you heard of A Pale Horse Named Death?
A Pale Horse Named Death is a new heavy metal band straight out of Brooklyn.
A super group of sorts.
A Pale Horse Named Death was started and fronted by Sal Abruscato on guitar and vocals along with his friends Eric Morgan on bass , Bobby Hambal on guitar (Biohazard), Johnny Kelly on drums (Type O Negative, Seventh Void, Danzig) and Matt Brown on guitar (Uranium 235, Seventh Void).
Yes, there are three guitar players.
Don't ask me why but this is how that band is known to tour so far.
The debut album, however, was recorded entirely by Sal Abruscato and mixed by Matt, whom also helped compose some of the songs and take it to another level.
Sal has been quoted to say that "We are the murdering evil version of Lennon and McCartney.".
Sal began his professional career as the first drummer for Brooklyn-based Heavy Metal band Type O Negative.
He then went on to form other bands such as Life Of Agony and Supermassiv.
Now it's all about A Pale Horse Named Death, a new band with seasoned professionals.
They've been receiving critical acclaim from several magazines in the United States and seemingly even more in Europe.
Prepare for what sounds like to me to be a mash-up between Alice in Chains and Type O Negative. Here are some songs from their debut album "And Hell Will Follow Me".

1 AnswerRock and Pop10 years agoAnyone else out there miss Jason Newsted?
Okay. If you don't like Metallica, go away.
To the rest:
I have to admit that I miss Jason Newsted. A lot of people claim that Rob is a much better bassist but no one really knows that.
The main reason I miss Jason is because of his presence on stage.
The guy was wide open. Almost too metal for his own good.
He would banter and get personal with the crowd. He would roar the backup vocals.
The expressions on his face were that of intensity.
Thoughts??

This isn't deciding who's better. It's just something I did for the hell of it.
Take your pick, kiddies!!! I layed out the bands with one track each, if you want to hear more than get those little fingers to workin' on the keyboard and search for more on youtube.

2 AnswersRock and Pop1 decade agoGucci Mane? Lil Wayne?
I don't know what people SEE in rappers like these two.
What happened to thinking outside of the box as far as instrumentals?
What happened to actually having talent when you rap and staying on point instead of mumbling and holding a boring conversation over a mediocre beat?
Yet they're so popular. And God forbid you have your own opinion. I've been verbally assaulted a few times because I find Lil Wayne and Gucci Mane boring as hell.
Also, Lil Wayne's nasally voice combined with his arrogance makes me dislike him all the more.
8 AnswersRap and Hip-Hop1 decade agoYou guys like Buckethead?
I sure do. I mean, he's got damn near 50 studio albums, I'm not crazy about ALL of them. But there are some real diamonds here and there.
I'd have to say my favorite Buckethead projects would be the Deli Creeps and the Cornbugs.
But I'm a real big fan of Buckethead all around. Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains is in a league of their own, really. They're like the kings of bizarro funk.

6 AnswersRock and Pop1 decade agoJust finished The Preacher....?
Hello. My name is Mud. Anyway, I started getting into comics big time a year and a half ago when a friend lent me the first SANDMAN anthology. After I read it, I went out and bought it, then the second, third, and fourth... Most recently I read a comic that I personally measures up to the greatness that is Sandman. As you can already tell that comic was The Preacher.
Well, all good things must come to an end... I finally finished it up last night.
Now I'm stuck in a bit of a mid-comic rut. I don't know what to read next.
I tried reading 100 Bullets, but I couldn't get into the whole urban thing... I mean, that's one of the things I'm trying to ESCAPE. The only urban-esque comic I ever loved was Sin City...
But anyway, here's the question: Can someone please suggest to me a good comic that lives up to Sandman and The Preacher.
btw, I've already read Fables, so don't suggest that...
Thanks to anyone who helps me out!

2 AnswersRock and Pop1 decade agoFavorite metal singers?
We all know the best....
- Bruce Dickenson
- Ronnie James Dio
- Rob Halford
- King Diamond
- Axl Rose
- Danzig
And I'd have to say Dickenson is my favorite out of those three. But who is your favorite metal singer? They don't even have to sing. George Fisher doesn't but I love it. Same goes for Angela Gossow from Arch Enemy. James Hetfield isn't the greatest but he's grown to have a manly voice, not to extreme. A couple of my personal favorites are Messiah Marcolin from Candlemass and Peter Steele of Type O Negative.
14 AnswersRock and Pop1 decade agoMoby Dick vs. Rat Salad?
Here we have to hard rock/metal bands from the same generation : Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath. Both of these bands have (had) two great dummers. John Bonham and Bill Ward.
Even though the two songs were released five years apart, begining with Rat Salad in 1970, do you think that this could be competition? Do you think maybe Bonham was like "Hey, Bill... try this."?
Personally, I believe the two songs are quite similar and each reflect the bands personality and influence. Both of them have incredible drum solos. You be the judge. I personally choose Rat Salad because I'm more of a Sabbath fan.
