I wang to put UPC price codes for my pottery business. Is there a program that will print the labels and allow me to read the labels and add up the prices when the items are sold? I have a barcode reader.

There are two phone numbers coming into our business. No DSL available yet. I bought a 2 line splitter, has slots, L1, L2, L1&L2. I plugged it into the phone jack and plugged the phone into line 1 and the internal modem to L2. When the modem tries to connect I get no dial tone. I've tried switching plugs, no change. Phone won't work either.

To use the phone you pick up the receiver and push A or B to get a dial tone. I am stumped! Any ideas?

I saw it on you tube. The guy that designed and made the instruments, Ray Faunce III, got ripped off He teaches sculpture at a local colege. Bill Milbrot is taking all the credit for making the instruments when all he did was go for pizza and coffee and go to home depot for parts. What do you think of a guy who takes credit for someone else's work. There was a story about Genesis and The Who playing the instruments in the London Times recently.

Voter ID's will prevent voter fraud, is that why all the dems are against it. Everyone can get free photo id, so what is the problem. A photo ID is required for just about everything anyway. It will prevent all those dead people in Philly from voting

My daughter has been beaten 3 times by an ex boyfriend. She got a PFA after the first beating. He violated that twice tbreaking into the house and beating her again, concussion,broken tooth, cuts and bruises. The police waited until he was ready to turn himself in, then released him with no bail. He tried to run his ex girlfriend, the mother of his 2 children off the road, because she sided with my daughter, again the police believed him when he said he lost control of the car. She also got a PFA. His 5 yr. old daughter came home with choke marks on her neck that Daddy did. Her mom got a court order to keep him away from the kids. He tore up the order and threw it on her car. His trial for assault is scheduled for Sept 10. He is now violating the PFA by calling my daughter and leaving messages on her phone. He is also committing the felony of witness intimidation by calling ro get her to drop the charges. Called police, did nothing, today he kidnapped the kids , police did nothing.

Have you noticed that stairs are getting steeper . Groceries are heavier . And, everything is farther away. Yesterday I walked to the corner and I was dumbfounded to discover how long our street has become! This extension work was apparently done at night !! Very sneaky stuff.. And, you know, people are less considerate now, especially the youngsters. They speak in whispers all the time! If you ask them to speak up they just keep repeating themselves, endlessly mouthing the same silent message until they're red in the face! What do they think I am, a lip reader?

I also think they are much younger than I was at the same age.

On the other hand, people my own age are so much older than I am. I ran into an old friend the other day, and she has aged so much that she didn't even recognize me.

I got to thinking about the poor dear while I was combing my hair this morning, and in doing so, I glanced at my own reflection ........Well, REALLY NOW- even mirrors are not made the way they used to be!

Another thing, everyone drives so fast these days! You're risking life and limb if you happen to pull onto the freeway in front of them.. All I can say is, their brakes must wear out awfully fast, the way I see them screech and swerve in my rear view mirror.

Clothing manufacturers are less civilized these days. Why else would they suddenly start labeling a size 32 pair of pants a 42, or medium shirt as 'extra large? Do they think no one notices that these things no longer fit around the waist, hips, thighs, and neck?

The people who make bathroom scales are pulling the same prank, but in reverse. Do they think I actually "believe" the number I see on that dial? Heck ! I would never let myself weigh that much! Just who do these people think they're fooling? I'd like to call up someone in authority to report what's going on -- but the telephone company is in on the conspiracy too: they've printed the phone books in such small type that no one could ever find a number in there!

All I can do is pass along this warning: We are under attack! Unless something drastic happens, pretty soon everyone will have to suffer these awful indignities.
