  • Why is one of the smallest countries in the world, Israel, who is surrounded by much larger enemies, hated by so many?

A few decades ago the largest and most powerful Arab armies invaded Israel and tried to wipe it off the face of the Earth. This tiny little country with 1/5 the number of soldiers fought them off and was even able to take some of their land. This is why they are so hated by Arabs - but why does the rest of the world hate them too? I've never seen a better example of David vs Goliath. Imagine if your country was surrounded by enemies much larger than you who vowed to destroy you and attacked you on a daily basis - what would you do? Would you let them destroy you or would you fight back? I believe that the antisemitism spreading across the globe is because Israel has been so misrepresented by the biased media. What are your particular reasons for hating the Jewish people?

  • Will WWIII start in one month or two?

Russia is now using it s own troops in Syria and this could easily lead to a war between Russia & the US. Obama s weakness & incompetence has allowed chaos to reign in the Middle East. Russia has "ordered" us to remove our troops from Syria. They would have never tried any of this when Bush was president. There are consequences for who you elect and Obama s been a disaster. I also would like to thank the 4 million evangelicals who stayed home in 2012 and didn t vote - our country and the world is a total wreck but you sure showed Republicans! Pat yourselves on the back for a job well done morons.

  • There's something I don't understand about rape?

I'm not trying to upset anyone - I just want to understand. Sex is something women freely do and many enjoy very much, yet when it's with someone they have not given their consent to, it becomes something so terrible some societies put it on par with murder. Why does lack of consent turn sex into something so terrible? Nothing else in the world is like it. Take torture for example - women don't (usually) burn themselves with cigarettes for fun and only get upset when someone else does it to them. Why is sex different? Even if the rapist isn't violent it's still extremely traumatic for the woman. And yes, I do understand that rape itself is a violent act, but why? When I was in prison I was a little worried about getting raped but I'm not gay and so I don't let men do that to me for fun, so it's not really the same thing. Thanks for your HONEST answers.

  • Will you rebel against the Facebook world we live in?

I deleted my Facebook account two years ago. You should do the same - fight back against corporations controlling/monitoring your life. I m so fed up with the Facebook world that we live in. Stop being a sheep.

  • How can historians explain why most paintings of the Black Plague have the people covered in red spots?

Bubonic Plague does not match the historical images. In the images, people are covered in red spots, but Bubonic Plague does not do this - it only gives lumps on the neck, groin, and under the arm pits. Why the discrepancy? I think they are calling it the wrong disease. Besides, it s been shown that mice that carried the flea that carried Bubonic Plague did not live in many of the areas where the Black Plague was found.

  • If Bill Cosby wasn't famous, do you think he would have gotten away with raping 40+ women?

It seems like the rich and famous can still do whatever they want and get away with it. Not much has changed since the Dark Ages, when feudalism was the law of the land and the aristocracy could do anything they wanted to the peasants. Will it EVER?

  • Everyone's a liberal these days - don't you think if you want to rebel you have to go conservative?

In the '60s if you wanted to rebel against your parents you had to go to left because most people were conservative, but now that everone and their dog is a liberal, don't you think that kids will have to go to the right to rebel? I know it's not as fun as free love and drugs, but they'll still get to tell their parents off.

  • How can people support Hillary Clinton when she's so dishonest and fake?

I don't think I've ever heard a politician who's more fake in my life than Mrs. Clinton. And here I thought Mr. Obama was dishonest, but he doesn't hold a candle to Hillary - she'll never give you a straight answer on anything! Even if I don't agree with him, at least I know where the president stands on most things. Why do you think she's so dishonest and won't just be herself?

  • Why are liberals so close-minded?

I've experienced it my whole life: if you disagree with a liberal on something they believe in, they get angry and take it personally. There's no room for debate with these people - it's either their way or the highway. They will not open their minds to alternate ideas. Why do you think this is? I believe it's because liberal ideas are based on emotion instead of logic, but what do you think?

  • I'm totally disillusioned - I don't understand why President Obama thinks that he always has to lie about everything?

I don't get it. Everyone knows he's not being honest and yet he continues to lie over and over. But why? If he just said how things really are, most people wouldn't hold it all against him - so why does he always do it? He's really let me and my friends down and it just doesn't make sense to me. He told us that he would be the most transparent president and yet he's been the exact opposite. I'm totally disillusioned by politics now.

  • OK, I'm going to make this very simple: criminals do not and will not obey gun laws?

If criminals obeyed gun laws, then Chicago and Washington DC would be the safest cities in America (where there are strict gun bans). Unfortunately, it's the exact opposite - gun crime in areas where there are bans are MANY TIMES HIGHER than most places without these bans. Criminals in these areas know that they're the only ones who have weapons besides the cops so they don't have to worry about honest citizens defending themselves. I mean, come on, use your brain - do you really think that someone who is willing to shoot a church full of innocent people is going to follow gun laws? And unless you think that the government can collect every one of the hundreds of millions of guns AND somehow stop people from acquiring new ones, then what's the point? People are so illogical about this. For some reason they think banning guns is going to prevent people from killing. People have been killing each other since the dawn of time and no, gun violence and mass murder is not getting more prevalent. We've had mass shootings since the 1800's with the peak number of these events being in the 1930's. Besides, the largest mass shooting event in history happened in a country that already has a ban on guns! So to all the good meaning morons out there: you can try to rewrite the constitution and change American culture but it won't do any good.

  • Now that the Democratic party is no longer the party of the KKK, why do they think they've cornered the market on social justice?

If you know your American history, you know that the southern Democrats were the ones who fought against the civil rights movement and supported Jim Crow laws. It was Republicans like Abe Lincoln who pushed for civil rights while the democrats freaked out and split from the Union. Hell, the leader of the KKK, Robert Byrd, was a fairly recent democrat senator (look him up on Wikipedia). Now the dems act like they are the ones who've been the biggest supporters of African Americans and other minorities and it's a total lie. They may say they support minorities, but their liberal policies have done more to hurt minorities than ANYTHING (just look at the employment rate for minorities in the large Democrat run cities - it's abismal). So it makes me wonder, are they still trying to secretly cause segregation with their anti-minority policies?

  • Terrorist attack on 4th of July and MH370?

    1. Independence day - America's most patriotic holiday

    2. Ramadan - during this period Muslim extremists believe that they get greater rewards in heaven if they are martyred

    3. Chat rooms - recently terrorist chatter has increased significantly

    4. ISIS - has called for more terrorist attacks world wide during Ramadan and 3 have already occurred

    5. MH370 - don't discount this. According to blogger and aviation enthusiast Keth Ledgerwood, there's a simple and easy way that MH370 could could have gotten away unnoticed - it's been called possible by experts and probable by others (see his web site). I believe it's possible that MH370 was saved for this "special" time when the 4th of July lands on Ramadan (It isn't the same dates every year) and long enough from when it went missing that it's out of most people's minds. Hopefully I'm wrong.

  • An entire family dies in the forest because we don't find them in time yet we send 1100+ cops to find 2 escaped prisoners? Priorities?

I remember a few years back an entire family died in the forest because they weren't found in time. It was winter and it took something like 20+ days to find them even though they were parked in the middle of the road. A helicopter and a few patrol cars were sent out but it wasn't enough. Yet they send 1100+ officers and an untold number of aircraft and other vehicles because two convicts escape - where are our priorities??? I find that absolutely disgusting. What about all the other crimes being committed because all these officers have been pulled off of their regular posts? Yeah, so they're dangerous - so is driving in the woods in winter!

So I've tried the patch before but it makes me dizzy and even kind of sick sometimes. I think it's because the nicotine level is too high because I smoke ultralights. Is there a patch made for a smoker like me?

  • we saved a duckling from being eaten by something so now we need help?

We found a baby duck and cant find the mom and no one around here can take it so my dad said we can keep it -we live in the middle of no-where. Its about 3 inches tall or maybe less and yellow and dark grey, with a dark beak. There isn't any duck food at the local ag store though let alone duckling food -they have chicken food instead- so I've been smashing up dog food & grass. I also dropped in worms, wet oats, a toy stuffed animal duck -which it loves!-, some other bugs, some peas and lettuce, some carrots and celery, daisy flower petals, a small stick, some sesame seeds, a few pebbles, some straw, and a heating pad set at the lowest setting inside a plastic bag which is wrapped in a towel -it takes up about half of the cardboard box so the duck can cool off on the other half. I cut a hole in the lid of a water container so it can drink and put some more towels on the side that doesn't have the heating pad. We ordered duckling food online but it won't get here until next Friday. I'm going to put it in the sink with water that's not too hot or too cold so it can swim later and then dry it off with a towel so it doesn't get sick. It looks ok but keeps trying to jump out of the box even though its way too tall for it to make it over the side and its also crying out all the time. What else should we do for it?

  • Help with motor control hertz/voltage ratio and hybrid car?

So I have this idea and I was hoping some knowledgeable person out there could tell me if it could work or not. After a lot of reading I've learned that the best way to control the speed of a 3-phase AC induction motor is to control the frequency (hertz) of the power and that the voltage must be altered proportionally the same to keep the current the same (or the motor will get to hot and/or fail).

I am building a hybrid car which will use a 3-phase AC induction motor powered by a generator. Here's my idea - Couldn't I connect up the accelerator pedal to the throttle of the generator? This way, the pedal/throttle would speed up or slow down the generator engine, causing the generator head to speed up or slow down which in turn would raise or lower the frequency and voltage of the created power - as the generator slows down it creates less voltage and the frequency (hertz) is lowered proportionally.

I can't find anything theoretically wrong with my idea, but as with anything in electronics even though it makes perfect sense to me there's probably some reason why it wouldn't work (just lie to me and tell me it will - ha ha, just kidding).

Thank you in advance for your help!

  • Need some help please with eye puffiness?

I am a guy in my 30's and I get really puffy eyes, especially in the morning, which can make me look way older. Nothing I've tried (except for 10 minutes with an an ice pack) seems to work. I've tried the Garnier eye roller, and various dab-on creams. I even ordered the original formula Preparation-H from Canada (with Bio-Dyne, which was banned in the US) which was/is supposed to be "the model's secret to puffy-free eyes", but it only made my face smell funny. Anyone know anything that actually works?

    Thanks
