  • Soreness on the outer side of knee?

I had anterior tendon sprain and I had pain on the corners of the knee. Now after 4 weeks, it looks like has healed and i don't have pain. But I still have soreness on the side tendons which joins the top corner of the knee cap.

Is it normal to have soreness on tendons after 4 weeks?

If i walk the soreness continuous. Wondering if I should still wear brace if the soreness continuous, or should I walk without the brace?

What is the typical time for the tendons to heal completely?

  • Swelling in the lower inside of the knee?

I was diagnosed with Plica syndrome. This happened due to a previous surgery i did on my knee. I don't want to go for another surgery. I am wondering if any one has cured Plica syndrome on knee with Physical therapy or other conservative treatment?

    Thanks much

  • Patella Femoral Syndrome?

When I was walking on Stairs, I heard a slight pop and figured that my knee cap was having pain. I am wearing knee braces due to unstable knee. It seems that the knee cap is laterally tracking and I can't stand for long even with Knee braces. I was diagnosed with Patella Femoral Syndrome with X-rays. After a week I still have slight soreness on top of the knee cap.

Just wondering how long would it take for me to fully recover and start walking normally. Also when should I start active PT with this problem? Do I need a surgery with this?

    Thanks much,

  • Plica Syndrome and Knee Swelling?

I had a knee arthroscopy 2 years ago and had some severe inflammation occured during rehab. It took two years for the swelling to reduce. Couple of weeks ago when I did the thigh stretch swelling reoccured. It appears that I have a plica syndrome which is inflammed plica. How long would it take to get inflammed plica to heal completely so that I can return to normal activities?
