We have a new windows 8.1 on a dell XPS 8700 series. i have 2 questions

1) Where do you plug the speakers into the back (only place i can find is the headphone jack at the front)

2) I have installed Far Cry 2 on the computer. i did not get a desktop short cut. i only got one on the homepage. so how do i create a desktop short cut (don't worry i have tried to look everywhere for this)

Okay i have a Dell Inspiration 4600 desktop. One day i tried to boot it up, it turned on for about 30 sec and then died. Its power button started to flash orange. I checked a website which gave me a whole lot of colored circles. I understand that. but what we have is no colored circles (the 1st image) so it says a pre-BIOS failure. Okay, in english we are making vines (6-7 second long vids) i need some music to go with it but i only need i part of it. So how do you take a segment of the music out???

The game is called CivCIty Rome. We have had it on our PC before than uninstalled it. we are trying to put it back on but instead of saying install it says play. so we hit play then it says please install game but we cant cause of the 'no install' button
