  • What is it like living in Atlanta,Ga? [i.e; Art Museums, Music Scene, Shopping, etc.]?

Hey, my family and I are going to relocate to ATL soon and i was wondering what it was like down there.

I live in Philadelphia where there's just a lot of history. I love the stone paved streets, old shop, loads of museums, and just the atmosphere. Public transportation is great here too.

How does that compare to Atlanta?

My Mom had told me that everything is more new, which I'm not very fond of. But I could adjust.

We're moving to the outskirts of the city [like Druid Hills or Stone Mountain] so I'll be traveling downtown a lot for school at SCAD until I can afford my own place.

Being a young art student, will I enjoy myself down there?

    thanks ")

  • What is the fashion department like at Moore College of Art in Philadelphia, PA?

I have been hearing a lot of bad things about Moore in Philly, and I wanted to know if anyone had a bad experience while in attendance.

I was looking to take the summer course.

Sewing. Introduction into the Fashion Industry. Photo Shop and Technical Drawing are my choices at the moment.

    thanks :)

  • Working at a statejob, should i care about my 'appearance'?

So, my aunt recently set me up for a goverment job. Which is one of the last places I would ever want to work. But times are hard and a job's a job. Anyway, my biggest fear is that they're going to be strict on a uniform or something. Like I have an industrial piercing and I color my hair, I can tone down my ripped jeans for slacks. But one thing I can not and will not do is take out my piercing [still healing] and dull my hair. It's just not me, I turned 18 in November and I'm not trying to look like I'm 4o in penny loafers, lol. But seriously, any opinions on what they will and will not accept is seriously appreciated. :)

  • Best Spa Resorts Near Philadelphia?

So, I decided on surprising my Mom by sending her to a Spa Resort in the Countryside of Pennsylvania for her birthday in April.

    But not like...4 hours away.

I was going to hire a Car and Driver to drive her there and back, I don't want the driving to take up most of the time.

Not to mention, she's not the most patient person in the world.

Anyway, I need a place where it's absolutely gorgeous, serene, and Mom-Friendly.

If you've been there that would be even more great, links to site would be cool too.

    Thanks :)

  • What's the Best Hawaiian College?

    Hey,

I'm transferring out of my Community College and am settled on going to Hawaii. I was looking at Hawaii Pacific University, and it seems okay. But there are also some others that seem good too.

Any suggestions? If anyone goes there it would be a plus.

    Thanks, :)

  • One part of my Back is Soft..the other Hard. What's up with that?

    So,

    I'm 17.

And I've recently noticed that my left part of my back is firmer than my right.

    Is that normal?

Should I get it checked out?

I was opting to get a back brace anyway to work on my posture, because lately it's a strain to sit up straight.

I just want to know if I should check in with the doctor or chiropractor?

    thanks,

    Atiya :)

  • I have no idea how big my Puppy will get..any ideas?

So, I got Cody on 9/21. So far he's grown significantly, he was so small when we got him..like the size of my fingertips to my wrist.

Now, the size of my fingertips to elbow when stretched out.

I'm just confused on how big he will get, seeing as he's a mix with Beagle/Poodle/and Yorkie.

    Any one have any insight?

I already looked up the whole "Look at the Paws" and "Loose Skin" tips.

    Here's a Pic, ")
