I want to transfer files from my old laptop to my new laptop. Old aptop has vista 32bit and new laptop has windows 7 64 bit. I want to use a ethernet cable to do this. What I want to know is what program should I use to do this?

How do I get the arrow button to show the previous sites i'v been to? It isn't showing any at the moment.

I'm trying to get vacation photos off of a cd-r cd onto my laptop. When I put the CD in my laptop makes sounds like it's loading but nothing comes up. I tried going to computer then d drive but nothing.

My computer is recognizing it as a cd-r but i cant view the files inside. If I open it, it then says "please drag files to burn to this disc" and I dont see any of the actual data that is burned on the cd.

Please any help with this would be great.

Lately when im playing wow I keep getting crazy latency as high as 5500 ms. I'm using my landlords wireless signal and it is usually great at about 10 mbps but i keep going through bad latency spikes and keep getting dced. Would running a cable from the modem directly to my laptop help at all?

I'm guessing its from somebody downloading stuff upstairs but i didn;t think it would affect my connection that bad.

any suggestions??

its really sore. I put polysporin on it, that is why it looks wet.

i have a rear deore and front lx derailleur. No matter how much i play with the barrel adjuster i have rub in the three hardest gears. I'm thinking of bending the derailleur cage as a last option but im open to suggestions.

I'v had two crank sets and the rubbing happened with both.

ps- i'm pretty damn sure the front derailleur is at the proper height and angle.

how important is this? Everytime i go riding i would tighten it because it would get loose. Well i went to tighten it today and i stripped the star nut (pretty sure thats what stripped because the cap bolt is fine)

anyhow i can get it somewhat snug then it starts to spin. Some of the fins on the star nut have kind of bent backwards, most likely from me over tightening it.

How important is it that i replace it? I dont see it being that important since i already have the stem tightened to the headset but i could be wrong?

I plan on replacing it anyway just wondering how important it is.

I have a truvativ internal spline BB that i just had replaced bout a month ago. After a good bit of riding it has come loose on me twice. LBS says that an external bottom bracket would do me better, they say it is alot stronger then an internal spline BB, is this right?

I am not to light on my bike being 265 pounds so i was wondering if i would benefit from an external bb? (is it worth the $215 price tag) all i want is something "bomb proof"

i am also hoping the threads aren't stripped because i rode the bike a while it was creaking because the bb was loose.

every since i got my bike back from getting the bb replaced im having probs with the front derailleur (deore front LX rear)

It rubs on the biggest chain ring when im on the last two smallest gears on the rear casette (so the two hardest gears)

if i touch the barrel adjuster then it will screw up my other gears. Im thinking it might be crank flex and theres nothing i can do but i might be wrong?

any suggestions?

ps- if i loosen the barrel adjuster then in screws up gears 2(front) and 1(rear)

any tips?

My asus laptop was making some realy loud humming noises when installing modern warfare 2. Oddly it was only the first cd that made loud humming noise and when it asked for the second cd it was quiet. When the first installation cd was mak ing all the noise i held the disc holder to help absorb alot of the noise/vibration.

For a test a tried ripping a music cd and there was no hum, but when i tried installing Warcraft alittle bit f the hum came back.

Is this an indicator my disc drive is about to fail on me?

It is under warranty but i'll do anything before i have to bring it in for repair as i wont have a computer until it's fixed.

Can only head and chest be bought with conquest badges and the rest are looted from bosses?

I just got back into wow after 4 years of not playing. I have no addons and all i really want is to have a bigger spell bar.

What is the best to use?

I was charged with impaired driving when i was 21. I fought it in court and it did nothing but make me spend lots of money and drag things out even more.

Now i am 24 and get my full license back at the end of this month. I have had my license for the last year but with the interlock ignition condition on it. Not being able to afford the ignition interlock i decided to not drive.

I am seeking advice from a insurance broker or somebody who has been charged with impaired and has gone through this.

ON average what do you think i will be paying for insurance? Do you have any suggestions to make?

I have a feeling i wont be able to afford it and will still take public transportation but i am curious.

We recently had a new free standing shower stall installed. I noticed that some of the screw heads are exposed to water. What can I put on them to stop them from rusting over time?

I have thought of using shoe goo on them but i'm sure there is something better for the job.

So what type of things could I use to sheild screw heads from getting wet?

my zune died so i got an ipod. I installed intunes 8 and pretty much clicked "next" "next" "next" till it was installed.

Now it seemed to have synced ALL music on my comp and i would like to make it sync mp3's only from selected folders. How can i go about doing this?

i dont think it is a pimple. Maybe an infected mosquito bite? (it's not itchy but very tender and sore)
