  • If my hair is dyed unevenly, and I have it colored again, will it still be uneven?

I have dark blonde/ light brown hair and wanted to color it a really light blonde. Yesterday, I bought Vidal Sassoon hair dye, and followed the directions exactly.I'm 25 and have never dyed my hair before, my mom has been doing hers for years successfully, and is the one who did this for me. My bangs and top 1/3 of my hair is a honey blonde, and the rest is just slightly lighter than my natural hair color- it's a very noticeable difference between the two. I plan to ask my stylist if she can fix it, but I just want an idea of what to expect before they open tomorrow. My hair color was on the box, so it's not like I was picking a shade that was too different than my natural color; I've also read that it's best to gradually lighten, shade by shade.

If I had it colored again, would my hair dye unevenly since the new color would be taking to two different shades? Or some experiences/ tips would be appreciated.

  • What does the symbol >.< mean?

I see >.< pretty often on Facebook, and am beginning to wonder what it's used for.

  • Can anyone identify this animal?

There's been some sort of animal living around my house, and I was hoping someone would be able to recognize it by the sound. My guess is that it's a bird, but I haven't actually seen it.

    If it helps:

I live in southwest Michigan (in the Lower Peninsula), in a rural area around lots of trees and a few swamps and ponds.

It's very close to the house, and sounds like it's living under the deck.

It starts making noises around 4:00 in the afternoon and carries on until close to midnight.

The same thing was here last year from early April until around August. I'm not sure if it left and came back, or just hibernated all winter.

If it hears anyone make noises outside, it just gets quiet but doesn't leave its spot.
