Hi I am going to be a senior in high school and debating whether I should take calc or not. First off I hate math but I am pretty good at it. I ended with a 92 in pre calc including a outlier of a 76 on the final but throughout most the year I had high 90s. I am during a new visions program in the morning and have to choose two more classes. I know I want to take AP GOPO (government and politics) and then I have to choose between calc and a first year experience class. I want my resume to be strong which I feel like it is with a 4.0 GPA and I am in the top 5% of my class but my SATS were only a bit above average so I dont want calc to ruin my GPA? Should I take calc and challenge myself but risk losing my GPA or take the easy way out?

I personally LOVE the names. At first I was not so sure because they are all a little old-fashion but once you get to know the kids, the names all seem to fit them so well!
