Let me start by saying that there is nothing medically wrong with him. A vet came and did a full exam on him and even cleared him to jump. He is 16 years old and just will NOT go. We know he can, because on his good days, he will. (His good days are like once every other month.)

It is also not a tack issue. Our tack fits him and us properly. We've used both english and western saddles, and checked them to make sure all pieces are unbroken and not hurting him in any way. He is not lame at all and has no muscular issues.

Now, we've tried lots. Squeezing doesn't do a thing, and you can kick as hard as you want for as long as you want, but he just doesn't care. He doesn't respond to the crop on his shoulder, but he will sometimes respond if you smack him on the butt with the crop. He doesn't respond to spurs either. He just continues on his lazy pace.

I understand that most issues are the riders, but the two people who ride him have years and years of experience and he doesn't respond any differently when we put someone else on him either. He's also VERY barn sour, which I've been working with him on.

Any other tips or ideas to try?

Okay, so I'm going to be moving an hour to an hour and a half away. Although that might not seem like much, in this area it is. I won't see most of the people from here on a regular basis. So would it be better to have a going away party, or wait till I move and have a house warming party.

The only problem with a house warming party might be that the place might be too small for the number of people I'd like to have, and it is a ways away.

I know this is about to sound selfish haha, but which do you think would people be more in a giving mood for?

I'm most interested in areas with high horse populations, but not totally rural. Where I am here in Florida has the greatest combo of horse stables and city. But I'm wondering what are good ares of Colorado like that. Give me a county, city, whatever you know.

Ok, so I've been riding for over 10 years now. I've jumped (at a trot and then cantered out) I've fallen off more times than I can count (hasn't scarred me for life or anything and no brain damage ha ha.) I've cantered before, and I used to think that my lack of confidence was always because my stirrups were too long ha ha. I'm super short and all my friend's saddles just don't go short enough for me. And I have issues with vertigo, so it seems like when I don't have stirrups, my mind starts thinking I'm going to fall and I just do, or if I don't fall, I'm clinging to the saddle or mane.

Anyways, today I rode the horse I'm leasing, and in my own saddle, and the stirrups fit me. I went into it thinking I'll do fine. I had no problems at a trot, but then I urged him on and the trot gets faster and choppier and then when he goes into a canter, I have like an internal breakdown and lose all confidence and find my self grabbing the front of my pad (I ride english.) Is there anything I can do to get over this? I don't know why I can't just ride through it. And once I start to have my little breakdown, I lose control of the horse and he starts going wherever he wants. And I look, and probably sound from this question, like I'm a total amateur. But I work with horses for a living for heavens sake. Any advice?

I have a black car and it looks like circles where I assume someone tried to buff it. I know it's not the paint that's messed up, it looks like just the wax was messed up. Is there anything I can do about it?

I've always really wanted a corvette, but I'm not made of money. I'm considering trading my car for this other guy's vette, but it has 180,000 miles on it. My car only has 115K and it's a Honda, so it wouldn't surprise me if my car makes it to 250K miles. The corvette is an 87 Automatic. Obviously no one can give me a definitive answer, but I'm just looking for approximately, how long do you think it will last?

The job I'm applying for is simple, just an office assistant part-time. The manager even told me to just dress casually for the interview. This would be my first actual pay-roll job. The resume I have already written is specific to veterinary assisting because I'm certified in that, but this job is completely unrelated to animals. So I'm just writing up a new one to bring in to the interview tomorrow, and there's a Word template with an orange stripe down the side; it's still simple, but it fits my personality perfectly. The guy seems totally laid back and fun, so I'm thinking it would be fine to use this one, but I wanted to get some other people's opinions first.

I have an old 10 gallon glass fish tank that I've been thinking about getting out from the garage and getting something to put in it. Fish is the obvious answer... but I think it would be cool to have something more fun. I suppose the biggest issue is that it has to fit in the tank comfortably. And if you can tell me anything about the diet/cleaning/handling requirements for anything you mention, that would be much appreciated.

I think Bonham is SEVERELY underrated. I definitely think he's better than Pert. Most my friends don't appreciate Bonham and think Pert is the best. But what do you think?

I'd rather not buy anything to do it. They're connected to the same wireless iternet. It's a large amount of music- over 15GB. They're both fairly new and have Window's Vista.

I want to take a little trip to Philly, maybe stay for about a week. I'm extremely interested in history, especially the Revolutionary period. I know some of the regular stuff- Independence Hall, Betsy Ross House, Liberty Bell, Zoo. Any other suggestions? If you could include prices too that would be great. And if you have any restaurant suggestions, that would be awesome and do you know the average price for a meal for one person in Philadelphia?

I want something that has at least 16GB, preferable around or less than $200 and it would be awesome if it had wi-fi inernet access and a web browser. The ipod touch is too much $ for me I've looked at the nano (but doesn't have internet) and classic (again no internet). But I'm interested in non-ipod brand products too. I've also looked at some Archos products nd Creative Zen, what are your opinions of these? Are there additional fees for a web browser? Any other info you can give me is a plus. Thanks in advance =)

I have Rockband 2 and all the instruments and I know that those instruments are compatible with Guitar Hero World Tour, but are they compatible with Guitar Hero Metallica?

I just found out that I have mono and I may have been carrying it for 4-7 weeks. My ex and I haven't talked since the breakup, but it's quite possible we could have given/gotten it from each other. I'm thinking it might be nice of me just to let him know that if he is sick, it's mono, but idk, is it pointless for me to tell him?

I really want the Sims 3 tomorrow, but I wasn't smart enough to pre-order it. If I get there right as the mall opens, do you think I'll be able to get my hands on a copy? Or if I go into Gamestop today am I going to be able to reserve a copy?

I want to start helping out making some of the meals for our family of four, because in a couple months I'm gonna be making all my own food. So if you could just tell me some of your favorite recipes or send me links to some awesome recipes that'd be great. Preferably anything easy and I love beef, especially ground beef, but I'm really open to anything. And I do want some recipes that take some time and effort but taste amazing. So just send me whatever. Just no walnuts or pecans, my mom's allergic to those.

I started hanging out with a new group of people, but it seems like most of the time I'm really quiet. It's a group of three guys that I'm hanging with and we talked about cars a lot, but I'm running out of things to say about cars lol. Eminence Front by The Who is definitely going on there for it's funk guitar and awesomeness. It's the song that inspired the cruisin the beach CD that I'm making for me and some friends for tomorrow. Hitch A Ride by Boston is also going on there because it's so chill and nice. I'm probably gonna put a Jimmy Buffett song on here too, cause this is Florida and listening to buffett is practically a law, and he's just awesome. But I want some more songs. They can be from any decade, preferably rock or some classics, and preferably not any sung by chicks, cause well, I hate chick singers. Thanks!
