  • Do you tip your photographer for taking Engagement pictures?

My fiance and I have booked this photography studio for our wedding. We will also have an outdoor engagement photo shoot. We will be meeting our photographer in downtown Chicago and we will go around taking pictures. This would take about 2-3 hrs for this session. My fiance and I was wondering if we should tip our photographer and if so, how much? The engagement session photo shoot costs $150, if this detail would help. Thanks!

  • How would you feel if you weren't invited?

My good friend for 5 years got married over the weekend in Hawaii. We're both from Vegas, I've told her beforehand that I won't be able to fly down there and be there for her wedding in which she understood. She asked me to accompany her for her 1st bridal gown fitting, but she never invited me for her bachelorette party and I never received her formal invitation in the mail.

I joked about it & asked her why she didn't invited me after seeing the Bachelorette pictures on facebook, but she ignored my comment. I also asked her about not receiving her invitation because I wanted to keep it as a souvenir, and she just quickly pushed the question aside by saying she did mail me one.

How will I approach my feelings about this to her, when she ignored my joke anyway... I don't want to feel any resentment towards her since I asked her & she agreed to be one of my bridesmaids in my wedding next year.

  • How do you pack and safely travel with your wedding gown by plane?

I'm from Las Vegas and will purchase my gown here. My wedding will be in my fiance's hometown in the midwest (Indiana). How will I pack my gown? What would be the best and safest way for my wedding gown to get there? Should I mail it there (risk of getting lost)? Should I check it in with my luggage on the plane (risk of getting lost)? Should I have it as a carry-on (bulky, no room on overhead storage on plane)?

I paid a lot for my wedding gown and I don't want to risk losing it and having to look for "another" wedding gown to wear - that would be crazy!

    Any suggestions?

  • my fiance hates my brother?

I had a fight with my brother last night and we ended up physically hurting each other, he's in the Navy and much stronger than me eventhough I am his older sister. I ended up with a black eye (he didn't punch me but it was from trying to fight back), in addition to that I also got a few bruises on my upper chest, arm, knee and finger.

My fiance is so mad at him that he tried to report him to the domestic abuse department. But they told him that I have to report it myself. I said I will not because I can't give my mom anymore pain and I don't want things to get worse. He was being rude, selfish and disrespectful that I had to step in and we ended up fighting to were my mom was in the middle trying to stop us.

Now, my fiance is disappointed at me because he said what he did was wrong and against the law. He's so mad at my brother that he completely don't want anything to do with him anymore. He said that we have nothing in common about family values and morals and that I was being disloyal to him.

I guess my question is... how do I make him understand or how can I understand him? Was I wrong? He doesn't want him to be in the wedding also (he's one of the groom's man)... and he don't ever want anything to do with him anymore...

  • My fiance called off the engagement...?

I've been engaged only 2 months to the perfect man. I was obsessed with our wedding, it's all I could talk about. It's a long distance relationship and today when he missed sending me a txt msg, I over reacted... We got into an argument and he called off the engagement, he said he can't live with anyone who is selfish, un-understanding, never contented and unfair... I just wanted to be the best for him, I wanted to be perfect, I wanted to be the right one... He thinks I'm obsessed and that I want to micromanage his life because his life can't revolve around me 24/7...

I'm heartbroken, and I don't know what to do... I have friends but I don't want to reach out to them... I'm praying that what he said, he just said out of anger but he wants me to return the engagement ring back... I'm so lost...

Is it wrong for me to want to hear from him all the time? Is it wrong that I ask him to text me often... He used to be like that, he used to text me all the time... he used to love hearing from me then all of a sudden he don't care anymore... It's a long story and many series of events... I don't know who to turn to...

Please advice me... what should I do to get him back... please let me understand... I'm so hurt... where did i go wrong...

  • Upset w/ fiance for saying "I'm only the one who issues the checks"...?

Me and my fiance didn't have an argument, but when I mentioned something about the wedding plans, his reaction was like "I'm only the one who issues the checks..." yeah, true, but because I'm still in college & he already has a stable job and all and it's not like I made him, he took that responsibility already before any mention of wedding preparations...

Now I'm heartbroken and I feel like, just having an intimate parents/siblings & their kids ONLY occasion... instead of the BIG church wedding with 250 guest that we initially planned...

I feel like he's throwing it on my face (not on purpose)... that I need to watch the budget cus he's the only one shouldering the financial expenses of the wedding... Although, I plan to cover the charges for the engagement shoot, thank you parting gifts and of course my gown... even if I wanted to share with the expenses - what can I contribute? Plus, we would never ask our parents for something WE want...

I'm hurt... should I just opt for the small private wedding? He said I'm being extreme about it when he didn't mean anything when he said that...

1 year and 10 months before THE day... and already having problems =(

  • No maid/matron-of-honor - HELP!?

I'm really having a hard time choosing my maid or matron-of-honor... I really want it to be a very important person in my life. My 2 bestfriend from HS live out of the country and they have no way to come here to be in my wedding (here in the US)... My 3 bridesmaids, are my good friends but that's just it... There's no strong bond unlike my bestfriends back home... How should I chose my maid/matron-of-honor... I don't have any siblings (just 1 boy - he'll be groomsman already)... My only close cousin lives in Cali and won't be able to help plan the wedding with me since I live in the East Coast...

    I'm sooo bummed out...

    Any thoughts or ideas???

  • Is it wrong to copy another wedding theme?

Hi there! Before yall start judging me telling me I got no originality or I'm lazy to think of my own theme... lemme say first that I DO have my wedding color theme already... sage green and cream...

My problem is... I saw a featured wedding on one of my wedding magazines and I really, really, really fell inlove with their wedding color theme and now I feel that my sage green & cream doesn't look appealing anymore...

The featured wedding on the magazine had their vendors listed. I went to the website where they had their invitations made and I saw the exact same design... it was really very pretty. It also showed a picture of their reception table centerpiece and also thought that it really looks wonderful. I also love their thank you parting gifts and that too was pretty as well...

I have a really good idea and a nice laid out plan for my wedding (no worries it's 1yr & 10months away)... but seeing this "featured wedding" in the magazine made me feel like my plans won't be as beautiful so now I wanna copy that "featured wedding"... their color motif, centerpiece, thank you gift & bridal bouquet... she doesn't know me & i don't know her either - do you guys think that's pretty tacky?!

    Thanks

  • I wanna have sex w/ my fiance ALL the time... am i sick?

Me & my fiance just got engaged... I dunno why but I always feel so horny and have the urge to wanna do it with him (just him) all the time... I've had previous partners before but with him, I'm just so sexually aroused by the mere thought of him...

Am I sick? wanting sex all the time?

P.S. we have a long distance relationship but see each other every month... and when I'm with him, I'm embarassed to admit it to him that I just wanna keep doing it... I don't want him to think I'm too much by wanting it all the time...

How do I stop these sexual cravings of him?

  • Should I invite my cousin (my fiance's ex) to my wedding?

My cousin broke up with my now fiance 6yrs ago... She just found out that my bf (her ex) proposed to me and that we're getting married...

My cousin is also the one who introduced us to each other (almost forcefully), not knowing that her intentions is to get back with him (she cheated on him and got preggy by someone else that's why they broke up)... I didn't know those were her intentions... Me and her ex, hit it off right away and we're so happily inlove with each other & he proposed 10 months after we've been dating...

Me and my cousin aren't as close as we used to be anymore, specially after finding out me & my guy are about to get married... They've been together for 2yrs... I know she's upset and STILL jealous even after 6yrs...

Should I invite her to my wedding? Will it be awkward if I do? I'm scared she'll ruin our special day...

    Opinions anyone?
