  • Does anesthesia dry up breast milk?

    My son is almost 3 months old. And up until now I had probably oversupply of milk. It turned out i had retained placenta fragments and needed a d&c. Since the procedure my milk supply dropped.

    I read online that they use medicine with the anesthesia to not make you throw up which can dry up milk. (Grycopyrrollate)

    is true and is it permanent or temporary? I can tell that I do not have a lot of milk but I do constantly try to feed my lo. He wants to keep sucking but I can tell I no longer have milk.
