I earned 16K in independent consulting fees for work performed during January 2009. I did not receive the fee until beginning of March 2009. Since no withholding taxes were deducted, I believe that I owe the IRS taxes but I don't know what forms are necessary. My friend told me to just send the IRS a check for 35% but this doesn't seem right to me. Can anyone help please??? Thanks.

My 4-month old min pin puppy can get very jump and excited when people or dogs she isn't familiar with enter my home. She gets so excited that she will pee and it even happened on my lap once.

She is pretty good when it comes to peeing normally on the wee-wee pad but is there something more I can do to prevent this situation in the future? Thanks.

My mom is a nurse and she told me that I should wait until 30 minutes after I am done eating before I drink any fluids (even water). She said drinking fluids while you eat can cause indigestion. Is this true?!

Can someone tell me what the keyboard shortcut is to navigate the menu bar at the top of the screen (equivalent to using ALT + F to get to file menu bar in Windows PC)? I am a lifetime PC user so I am used to using all of the shortcuts bc I hate using the mouse/trackpads. I would like to navigate the computer with keyboard shortcuts as much as possible, so if someone can provide a link with a list of useful shortcuts that would be great as well.

My 9-week old min pin puppy clamors to climb onto the couch whenever I am sitting down on it. She incessantly tries climbing on and whining about not being picked up. She likes to cuddle with me and typically I'm fine with this, but it is getting annoying and my friend pointed out that the dogs behavior could be a precursor to little dog syndrome.

Should I stop letting her cuddle with me on the couch? I used to take care of a dog with major little dog syndrome, so I don't want another repeat of that situation.

I've had a number of people over and so far she's been pretty friendly, but it is early and I want to be proactive in preventing bad behavior in the future.

I brought home a min pin puppy last week and since I did not have a crate with me at the time, I slept on the couch in the living room with the dog snuggled under the blankets with me so I could keep a close eye on her. Now that I finally have the crate, I've tried to get my puppy as comfortable as possible in her crate. I leave treats, her chew toys, and her food dish in there, and I praise her whenever she goes in and remains calm (not for more than 5 minutes).

However, she has still pee'd in the crate even though I put her food dish in there and yes, I have a divider panel so there isn't excess room in the crate either. She tends to whine when I keep her in there for longer than 5 minutes. Last night, I tried leaving her in the crate at night for her to finally sleep in but it wouldn't work b/c she would almost constantly cry. I am still sleeping in the living room with the crate right next to me in sight so I am not sleeping well!

What should I do?! How long does it usually take for a puppy to be comfortable sleeping in their crate?

Also, a general question, but how long does it usually take to house train a puppy? Right now, after a week, she is about 50/50 when it comes to going correctly on the wee-wee pad. And I have to guide her half the time when she does get it right also, so the true split is probably closer to 25/75. Should I be concerned?

i can understand the benefits pretty clearly, but how common is the practice of taking a dog to these types of classes? does it depend on the breed and/or if the dog is mis-behaving or is it something to consider for all types of dogs regardless if they are mis-behaving or not?

I just brought home an 8-week old miniature pinscher puppy from a puppy farm. The dog is very laid back, quiet and introverted. All she wants to do is snuggle up into warm areas of my apartment and nap. She isn't very social yet! It has been only 1 day, but I am still concerned. Should I be worried?

Is it necessary to rent a car if you are vacationing in Punta Del Este? How do tourists typically get around to places (restaurants, clubs, sights)
