  • My African Dwarf Frog back leg is missing, will he be ok or should I return him to the store?

I just bought an African Dwarf Frog from Pet Smart. When I released him into my tank, I noticed that he/she is missing one back foot. It looks like it was lost in an accident at the store somehow. It looks healed over and not freshly done, should I keep him or take him back? They offered to replace him, but if he maybe ok, I would prefer to keep him. He goes to the top for air ok. so just looking from some advice from someone who has dealt with this before. Thanks

  • What are the best fish for a 20 Gallon tank for a beginner?

I just bought a 20 gallon tank, and would like some information from fish lovers on what the best and how many fish would be good in a 20 gallon tank. Any information would be great, and a explanation of "cycling" before I buy any fish would be appreciated too. I do have a heater and a filter already in case anyone was wondering. It is not set up yet at all. Thank you. I do have a 5 gallon already, so I do have basic knowledge, but only have a Betta and a snail in it.

  • Do I need an Algae Eater?

I have a 5 Gallon tank with only a male Betta in it. It does have a filter, and I clean it ( removing rocks and ornaments and empty 50 % of water )1x month, but should I get an algae eater to help clean the tank ? I notice waste collecting on the rocks, and no I do not over feed my Betta.

  • What is the best tank for a Betta? And the best care for it?

I just bought my first Betta. I bought a 1/2 gallon tank and and was told to change the water 1 x week. I am wondering if that is too small, and is it better to have a tank with a filter to help keep the water cleaner. It will be on my kitchen counter so not a 5 gallon or bigger for sure. Any additional information is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  • Cleopatra Exhibit in Philadelphia?

Hello, I am going to be going to Philadelphia on October 30th for a week, and we were thinking of going and seeing the Cleopatra Exhibit at the Franklin ( I believe) Museum. I wanted to know if anyone has gone to see it ,and if it is worth the $30 to go and see it.
