Why is everyone blaming the IRS, Turbo Tax, H&R?
I believe, the stimulus rebate information was finalized after I filed my taxes. I paid my fees by debit/credit card, not deducted from my refund, like I always do. It isn't the fault of the program, IRS that you decided to use the refund to pay the fee. That is fine, but the IRS doesn't have your direct deposit info so how are they supposed to deposit funds without your information. I guess I am just glad, check or DD to get the rebate at all. Any amount of $ will help most of us right now. I figure it as "found money" and will help a great deal this month for me!

I used Turbo Tax to file my taxes. I used my debit card to pay for the fees, had the refund direct deposited into my personal account. I called and talked to someone at IRS last night and they said that my refund would be direct deposited by May 9. Since I didn't have the fees deducted from the refund, my rebate is direct deposit. If fees were deducted from the refund, no matter what program you used to file, you will receive a paper check. I know that really doesn't seem fair but since there was a 3rd party involved deducting the fees, that is the way it works.
