My tractor hasn't been taxed since 1985 and i was just applying for one and its telling me i have committed an offence as its not be sorned.

3 cylinder diesel International Harvester smokes way too much. it doesn't go away if you rev it. I know that blue smoke is oil but the thing had new pistons, rings and liners 2 years ago. and more recently the liner seals were replaced and valve guides done. Sadly some time ago my father passed away and my mother inherited his farm. She then gave me the farm along with tractors and other machinery. I am currently trying to find out how I sign over the logbooks for these tractors over to me as they are still registered in my deceased fathers name.

My mother inherited my fathers estate when he died but we have lost the log books to numerous vehicles that I currently keep and use on my farm. To sign the logbooks over to me we are currently trying to find out if the vehicles are now registered in her name or they still legally belong to my father.

We have been having disputes recently with our neighbors and they are looking for anything to get us in trouble. My son uses the chainsaws in wooded areas but if i know the laws about it i can act accordingly.

i lost the manual

if you try pull starting a tractor forwards with it in reverse will it turn the engine over backwards? and is it possible for a diesel engined tractor to start and run with the engine turning over backwards?

I was wondering if you lost the negative jumper cable from your pair could you just make both vehicles be in contact with each other and connect the positive cable to the positive terminals on both batteries and have it start?

My tractor is very dependent on its glow plug and will never start without it even after its been run. no matter the temperature of the engine it will never start without 15-20 seconds of the glow plug. and also it burns oil so may that be the problem? I'm sick of buying glow plugs every 6 months

I have a International Harvester 485 that i lost the engine oil dipstick for and it is currently so overfilled that oil pours out of the breather tube. So i was wondering if i could use the dipstick out of my International Harvester 784 so i know how much to drain out.

its definatley overfilled but we do not have the original dipstick so dont know how much to drain out. and i cant get another dipstick for it coz the tractor is a IH 485 and they're rare

ps. it only comes out when revved up

My 3 cylinder diesel tractor smokes blue smoke excessively all the time. I thought it might be the fuel pump feeding the injectors too much diesel but i don't know. how would i adjust the fuel pump to regulate the flow? or is it something else? the oil is overfilled but will it burn the excess oil. also when you rev it up oil comes out of the breather pipe so we know its overfilled but do no have the original dipstick therefore do not know how much to drain out.

Where can I find a Toshiba Camileo H20 charger? The original charger doesn't make the charging light on the camcorder turn on and all the other micro usb chargers i have make the light just stay on and not charge the battery. The light is supposed to blink when it is charging. HELP MEEEEEEEEE
