so, what is this? [x *= 2]

is it the same as [x = x* 2]

so say for instance (x = 3) then after performing the action x would be changed to 6

or what?

then i take that the same goes for something like [x += 2] or [x /= 2] ??

I need to play an emo girl for a drama project. How do they dress? I know the obvious, black ect but pleassseeee HELP!

PS im sorry i know this is the wrong category to be asking about style, i just figured im more likely to find emo people in the music categories than in style & beauty.

The reason im asking is I entered a competition where i have to sing in 6 different genres (one of which is opera).

Now i have no trouble with singing Soprano, i enjoy it in fact, but my voice is just so much better when i sing alto. it has a very nice full velvity round touch to it. its really strong and i can hold a note forever (not bragging, just giving the facts)

So ive never heard of anything like alto opera solo for girls thats why im asking whether it exists??

Any suggestions? I only need 90s..

Can anyone PLEASE tell me what the difference is between all these rock genres??? Cuz i never know what the right terminology is to refer to my songs and artists.

I have some idea what some of these mean, and obviously i can tell the obvious differences like between metal and pop rock ect... but im never sure... please add any im missing...

Rock, alternative, punk, grunge, emo, screamo, metal, metalcore, death metal, indie, pop rock

And what is a rock ballad? how do i know when a song is one?
