  • Iphone facebook app friend request issues?

I sent a friend request to a few people I met at a party, and the next time, with no new activity on their page, I went to their profile it said add friend request like it had be denied or never sent. I would've just assumed that they denied it or something if it weren't for one of being someone who asked for my number and told me we should hang out again, and the fact that both of them were back to "add friend" instead of "friend request sent." I went on my computer and added another person from work who I had been meaning to add, and so far it works on my computer. Is it possible that it didn't go through on the iphone app even though when I initially had tapped it, it changed, but when I went back to look at it, it was just the "add friend" icon.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? Is this a known bug or problem with the facebook app?

The reason I'm asking is because I don't use facebook much, so I'm not too savvy with it.

  • Need a good zoom lens for low light shooting. Any suggestions?

I've been checking out quite a few, and the best I could come up with is the Canon EF 28-135mm Standard zoom lens. I'm just wondering if there's one I've missed in my searches that is superior to what I've found.

It will be used with a Canon 7D for weddings, live concerts, and general purpose and portraiture.

I'm trying to stay within the $250-$550 range.

Here is a link to the lens I'm currently looking into.

  • Canon 7D vs Nikon D7000. Please help!?

I've read reviews and I've watched comparative videos. I need a camera that will take great shots at all times of the day/night and at all lengths of exposures at any time of the day/night. I also need one with great video. It needs to be durable and have a good life time, because it'll be used pretty extensively on pretty much a daily basis.

I've done some research and still can't really decide. Anyone know from personal use of one or both that can give some insight?

Which of the two cameras have the best combination of the attributes I listed?

  • I have a stretched or strained muscle question.?

I was outside walking with a friend, and we all of a sudden started running at pretty much full speed. I hadn't stretched or anything and it's pretty cold outside, so is there a chance that I pulled my a muscle in my leg. It's on the front of my thight about halfway up. It's just warm feeling and slightly stiff. Do you guys think that's what it may be? If so, would it be better to put ice on it or heat?

  • Ugh, gross question about IBS.?

I'd just like to be able to put my hypochondria to rest. I had a delicious chicken caesar salad for dinner tonight and I had lettuce in my stool. Just wondering of that's most likely from my ibs.

I also have GERD(gastro-esophageal reflux disease) aka acid reflux.

So could my IBS and/or GERD be the cause of this?

  • Is there such thing as too much green tea?

I love all kinds of tea, black, white, green, Darjeeling, you name it. I'm just wondering if there is such thing as too much tea. Green tea specifically but all kinds of tea as well.

I drink one to two cups a day usually. A cup being a regular sized mug. I occasionally drink three cups(mug) in a day. I also mostly drink decaf and occasionally will have caffeinated tea.

So is there such thing as too much green tea and or tea in general?

  • Do antibiotics raise your body temperature, if so, is that normal?

I read that online somewhere, but I was hoping to get someone that knows medicine like a pharmacist and/or doctor to tell me if this was true or not.

Only reason that in asking is because I took some augmentin and my temperature was just slightly above 98.6. I think the highest the thermometer said was 98.7, but I checked it under my arm do I know it may be a tiny bit higher than that.

  • Muscle stiffness, from anxiety, questions?

I was just wondering how long your muscles may stay stiff from stress or anxiety. I'd just like to compare it to my own. I'm sort of new to anxiety issues.

In addition to letting me know how long your stiffness usually lasts, do you know of any good solutions to helping them be less tense and help me relax?

  • I have an anxiety question. Please help?

I feel weak, lightheaded at times, paranoid, panic sometimes, tired but can't sleep, tense but still weak, loss of appetite as well. In addition to feeling weak, some things sometimes seem difficult to lift or carry.

Is this from anxiety? It's been a few days that I've felt like this now. It sort of comes and goes. There are times where I feel okay, but then something seems to set me off. If you think this is anxiety, do you know any good things to help?

  • Cannon EOS Rebel 72 vs Sony Nex-3?

I need some help comparing the image quality of these two cameras. I own both, and I know Cannon is the superior brand, but it is a film camera. I don't exactly have the budget to buy myself a brand new DSLR, so I'm just wondering if the Cannon is still the better of the two. I couldn't find any clear comparison online, or any specs on the Rebel 72 itself. Anyone have any helpful advice on which is te better camera?

I'm not worried about shooting with a film camera, because I can get the prints and a digital copy of the photos as well.

  • I am going to pitch a documentary to a producer in a few days, any tips?

I haven't ever made a film, I've never worked in the business really, but I know a whole lot more than the average person would about filmmaking and I have the idea and the documentary entirely planned out. Does anyone have any tips on how to make my pitch more likely to be successful?

  • I have a question about smoking after having wisdom teeth pulled.?

It's been five days(4/8/11) since I had my wisdom teeth pulled. Three of my stitches have dissolved and the external half has fallen out of my mouth. I have stopped taking my pain meds(Oxycodone), by choice, I hate those things. I'm pretty stressed, so I just have a few questions about the subject:

Am I okay to smoke weed in about one or two hours?

If so, under what conditions would I not want to smoke today?

Is it the THC in marijuana that causes the problem or is it the smoke and/or act of smoking itself?

Thanks for all of your help!

(Ps. I'm only smoking one bowl, it's good stuff.)
