  • My twins are the youngest in pre-k. They can't repeat pre-k. What do I do about kindergarten?

My twins are almost 4 and currently in pre-k. They are the youngest in their class and are scoring average for their age, but this is behind the majority of the class because they are older than my twins. Our school has no option to repeat pre-k so I either have to remove them from the school for a year after they already attended pre-k or push them through to kindergarten. My son is going to start receiving physical therapy through the school for hypermobile joints and weak muscles. If he's not in the school he obviously cannot receive services and I cannot afford $50 copays to pay for physical therapy outside of school. What do I do? Do I push them in to kindergarten as the youngest in their class so that he can receive his physical therapy or do I keep them home for a year after they already had a year of pre-k? Help.

  • 10 points for a good team name?

I am going to enter a walk with my husband and a few friends. We are walking for the Dave Thomas Foundation for adoption and I cannot think of a good team name. Any ideas?

  • How do I get my kids to stop saying...?

My three year old twins have taken to telling each other, "I am going to beat you a**!" I know I have said this to them, but rarely and not since I have heard them say it. (BTW I have never beat them!) How do I correct this behavior with out giving the phrase more power than it already seems to have.

Thanks for the help. Also, telling me to beat their asses is not really helpful.

  • What is causing my right lower abdominal pain ?

I have had occasional pain in my lower right abdomen. I haven't been terribly concerned because I have endometriosis and Poly cystic ovaries. Until now, the pain has been only during my period so I really thought it was the endo even though it seemed to be more superficial. It kinda feels like it is in my fat roll. (I am not tiny and a mother of twins so it ain't pretty in that region) It's been hurting for about a week now and feels better when I support the roll and gets worse when I move wrong. Any thoughts.

If I go to the doctor, do I go to the gynecologist or my primary doctor. Thanks.
