We're both 18. He sometimes doesn't answer his phone or he suddenly disappears without telling anyone where he's going, and then when I don't answer his calls he gives me a cold shoulder and acts like I'm the worst person in the world. He gets mad for no reason sometimes and either goes and gets in his car and speeds away or punches someone in the arm or gives everyone a cold shoulder.

I don't understand it, it's like I want to be his friend but he makes it really hard to be when he acts like this. And he has double standards too, he's allowed to be a jerk but the second someone is a jerk to him he just goes crazy and blows up on them.

I mean should I just leave it alone? Should I confront him about it?

I just don t understand it. I mean I ve tried it plenty of times and I don t understand why it s such a big deal to some people. I mean I get that music sounds really cool and food tastes awesome but other than that all you get is sleepy and forgetful and spaced out. And everybody just wants to talk about how much weed they bought, when was the last time they smoked, when is the next time they re going to smoke, how high they got, etc. Like honestly it s not really as great as people make it out to be and I m really tired of everyone obsessing over it 24/7.

The worst part is it s splitting my friends group up into smokers and non-smokers. Like if we all go to a party together everything is really fun and it s a great time until someone busts out a pipe and for the rest of the party everyone s just sitting there staring at nothing looking all spaced out and then falling asleep.

I guess the question is; why is everybody so obsessed with it nowadays? Am I just missing something here?

So my girlfriend smoked on and off for a while a couple years back, and now she only has a cig every now and then. I used to smoke maybe 1 cigarette a month, but it started turning into a couple a weekend so I got a vape.

I use an eLeaf iStick 30w with a Nautilus Mini tank. She's looking for something like mine but not as box-y. I've been looking online with her and so far we've narrowed it down to either my exact setup or the eLeaf iJust kit.

Anyone have any other ideas?

So this fall I plan on rooming at the state university with two of my High School friends, in a quad (a four person dorm area). The thing is both of them are really into weed, and I'm not. I mean I have no problem with it but I'm just worried. What if they have weed in their rooms? What if they come to college and act like total idiots and just smoke weed the whole time. What if the random person we get hates it?

Maybe I'm just overthinking it.

I guess my question is do I need to worry about anything?

I'm thinking about going kind of semi long-term camping sometime in the future (I'm 18, about to graduate high school). I was thinking about starting off at a week, and maybe building up to 2-3 weeks. Maybe just at one campsite but I'm interested in going to one campsite/national park and backpacking through.

I was just wondering if anyone knows any good national parks for that or has any useful tips for trips like this. I'm not anywhere near a final plan but it's just kind of always been a dream of mine to go on like a survival/solitude trip somewhere.

Any tips or advice at all help, thanks!

Basically I have a friend who angers very easily. He finds a way to twist every little thing into a huge deal and when he gets mad he does things like speed around town in his car nearly getting in accidents, getting drunk, yelling at people, running away from whoever he's mad at, etc. He's been mad at me recently and all I seem to do is think about it and be afraid of him. Whenever I'm out driving I always look around because I'm physically afraid of him. I have anxiety problems in the first place but whenever I make him mad, me makes me feel like **** even if I didn't do anything wrong, and it makes my anxiety so much worse. What should I do? I don't want to lose him as a friend but it's taking a huge toll on my mental health.

I want to go out of state for college. I live in Arkansas and don't want to be here anymore. My dad makes more than enough to send me out of state to wherever I want within reason but he wants me to attend the local state college because he "doesn't want to take out a loan".

Basically he sat down and talked to me about how he paid his way through the local city college and how he doesn't like having any debt so he always pays all his debt off, and somehow connected that to how he doesn't want me leaving the state because it'll just be cheaper for him, but he makes enough for me to leave.

I know this sounds kind of whiny but I don't think this is fair, just because he stayed in state because he had to doesn't mean I have to. I really don't want to spend the next 4 years of my life in Arkansas, a state that I've grown to hate.

I guess what I'm asking is should I talk to him about this or just settle for whatever he wants to do. Me and him travel a lot, in the past we've gone to Seattle and San Francisco and Florida, so I've been pretty excited about eventually leaving, but now I feel kind of let down because yeah I guess the college here is nice but I'd rather spend my college somewhere I want to go, not where he feels like putting me.

I've only done it once and it was a few days ago.

I was just like "is that it" because I just coughed SO much and somehow got ash in my mouth (because it was out of a really poorly made ghetto pipe). But then some stuff people were saying was funny, like I don't even know. And then the rest of the day I felt kind of weird?

Is the second time different?

I'm going into the 11th grade and I plan on taking it multiple times after this, and I know I need to raise it but is a 24 ok for the first time I took it?

It's just there's so much social pressure about it where I go to school because like the whole school is focused on getting good grades and whatnot and being freaking perfectionists and I feel kinda bad about it. I know I can do better but just ugh :/

I basically nudged against a guys car a little over a month ago before we got out of school and he said I would have to pay for the dent/paint damage on his front bumper panel. We were in contact over the phone about a week after, and he said he would call me the next weekend about it, but he never did. So I called him and nobody picked up, so I left a voicemail and he never called back.

Should I assume he dropped it? Because I haven't been spending any money lately because I've been worried he's gonna call up and ask me for money.

I want to believe he dropped it because I never heard back from him, but idk. He seemed kind of lax about it and didn't really car when it happened.

It's only the passenger side corner, which is only a small part of the bumper (bumper is divided into 3 sections).

Basically what happened is I drive an 04 honda pilot and this guy drives some newer model of a Ford SUV. We were parked pretty close to each other at school (I'm 16, he's a senior) and I was leaving and the part in front of my driver side rear tire scraped along his passenger side corner bumper/fog light. Most of what happened was just paint exchange (which we were able to wipe off using our fingers), except I ended up scraping some of his paint (grey with sparkles) off.

So it was my fault, and I guess my question is how much do you think it'll cost to repaint it? I'm only 16 and don't have that much money :/

Me and my friends skate around town sometimes and through neighborhoods and down hills and stuff, and wherever we go we always get nasty looks from people, and people at school like, hate us for skateboarding. Like I literally can't go anywhere on my skateboard (which is actually just a cruiser board) without someone at school saying they saw me and then saying something against skating.

Not only is it older people who seem to think we're out there smoking and drinking, but people our age (who use to skate but quit so they could spend more time partying and drinking) give us a lot of crap for it.

I just don't understand why it has to be such a big deal.

I don't think he know he's doing it. When we've (me, him and all my other friends) all been hanging out for 5+ hours he starts to act really stupid and when people (my friends, even their parents) talk or say something, occasionally he will do a really bad voice of them saying whatever they said.

I just find it kind of offensive and annoying, especially when it's my mom who's talking (since my mom is british and has a british accent) and he puts on a really horrible fake sounding british accent.

What can I do? I don't want to offend him though. I usually just tell him to shut up. It just gets overbearingly annoying to listen to my friends talk and then hear him say something in a really stupid voice.

I'm soon to be a Junior in high school and I want to move to England after graduating high school.

My mother is british, and I have been to England 20+ times so I have a pretty good idea of what it's like there. I could live with my family when I move there unless I go to university, which I could live at dorms (if they have them) or near the university.

I just wanted to know if this sounds like a good idea (will need to do more planning) and if getting an average job is hard in England?

So I'm a sophomore in high school, it's about to be the end of the year, and I have a group of friends with 5 people in it. One of us is moving across the country, and I really have nothing in common with any of them. They're all super catholic and I'm just basically confused about whether I believe in God or not. I go to an all guys high school (which sucks) and I basically and in need of a new group of friends.

The only problem is I don't know how to go about doing that, as I made this group of friends in like, 7th grade.

Any advice/help?

I live in the middle of town in an easily navigable area of low traffic. My friends all live on the west end of town with lots of high traffic winding roads with sudden lane changes and aggressive drivers etc. And I'm 16 and one of the only ones of us with a car, so I end up giving everybody a ride places to where I don't know, and it's not like they help much on giving me directions until I'm in the wrong lane and can't turn around. It's really stressful to me and I hate driving with friends in the car because it's distracting. I feel like a jerk if I don't hang out with them but at the same time I waste so much gas and go under a lot of stress.

I just don't know what to do :/

So I'm 15 nearly 16 and me and my friend walked down to the gas station and bought 2 cans of this stuff called "Lean" and it had stuff on the can that said "slow motion potion" and "premium relaxation" and "purp." We drank the cans and it tasted like grape soda with a hint of cough syrup, and then after a while we both felt really wierd and tired. Why did we feel like that? Is that what it's supposed to do that?

We only bought them because people on instagram that live in our city buy it and take pictures of the can so we were curious.

So I'm turning 16 in January and I get my mom's white 2004 Honda Pilot, and I want to get some stuff for christmas/birthday to really make it mine, obviously I will help pay for it, I wil most likely pay about 50%

I'm looking for door speakers, radio replacement, hubcaps (I still don't care much about these.), new headlights and tail lights (if nice and cheap) and that's about it. I don't really know much about car audio systems but all I know is I want something that sounds decent and will be able to connect with my iPod touch wireless-ly or with a headphone jack.

Again, preferably nice and cheap.

I'm 15 and have been mowing my neighbors lawn for money all throughout the summer, and School started about 2 weeks ago and is taking up a LOT of my time. My mower has broken in the past 2 weeks and my neighbor wants his lawn mowed, so he bought a mower for himself and he wants me to continue to mow his lawn even though school has started.

I honestly don't have enough time for this, and I don't plan on this being my job next summer (I plan on getting a real job, or something along those lines.)

So how can I let him know that I simply do not have time to mow? Especially in the middle of the week when it is about 95 degrees every single day.

I go to an all guys school which is full of douches, rednecks, and rich kids. I don't relate with anybody but my circle of 5 friends, and it's really hard getting a girlfriend that doesn't go the all girls school. (they're mostly rich and b!tchy)

Basically I want to go the normal public high school or the public charter school. I hate going there and the education is the only better thing, and that's only a slight difference.

I barely have a social life outside of my 5 friends, and most of the people at my school just think I'm wierd something.

My parents should understand because my dad went to a public high school so did my mom, but when I talk to my mom about it she just kind of acts like she knows that I hate it but thinks its for my own good :/

So, any advice? Going into 10th grade and really don't want to stay here :/
