  • My friend and I keep trying to think of a musical that says the words "permanent vacation." Which is it?

    We're not sure if it's from a song or a line from a show, but we know we are thinking of a musical (probably a fairly popular one). It is driving us crazy, so any help would be great! Thanks!

  • Tap shoes quick change?

    I am playing Millie in "Thoroughly Modern Millie" at my school. I have to quickly change my tap shoes backstage. Is there any way to replace the straps (I am using character tap shoes) with elastic or something to make this easier? I don't think I have time to buckle/unbuckle the shoes.

    Also, how can you reduce the sound of your taps when you are walking around onstage before the dance starts? I often go long times onstage when I am not tapping, but will be wearing tap shoes.
