What are your favourite farewell albums, last albums by groups, artists, intentional or otherwise. The kind of thing I mean is like 'Abbey Road' not officially a 'final' album but it pretty much is or 'In Utero' if 'All Apologies' isnt an epitaph for Kurt Cobain I don't know what is.

Wow I just found out that Ed Cassidy the drummer for Spirit just died, he was like 50 when they were at their peak in the early 70's and he's pretty much outlived the rest of the band.

I'm a big fan of Crazy Horse and just love the way he jams with these guys, I'm a fan of the 'Tonights The Night' and 'On The Beach' era and I love this album, an opening song that lasts half an hour?! oh yes, bring it on, going to see him in March next year, can't wait!
