  • Breakaway roping/roping in general?

    I've started High School Rodeo and I want to do breakaway but there is a lot that I don't know. I've been told to get a Rattler Striker rope for it but besides the kind of rope, I've heard there is a specific way to hold the coils so you don't get a finger taken off.. Which it makes sense not to wrap your fingers through the rope but are there any breakaway ropers out there that would be willing to give me some tips?

    Assign formal charges to all of the atoms in the lewis dot structures in the image. Which is a more reasonable structure? Please explain.

    1) :N:::N:O:::

    2) :::N:N:::O:

    Thinking the first one is more stable but I'm not exactly sure why. Ten points best answer!

  • Electron geometry of C2H3F?

    I'm looking for the electron geometry of each central atom on C2H3F and the overall electron geometry. I keep getting conflicting information.

    Also, if someone could tell me the molecular geometry of N2H2 that would be greatly appreciated! I got all the other questions done for this assignment but I can't seem to find these ones. Thanks!

  • Calculating enthalpy?

    I cannot for the life of me remember how to do this. Any help? It's my last problem.

    The ionization energy for sodium is 496 kj/mol. The electron affinity for chlorine is -349 kj/mol . Use these values and Hess's law to calculate the enthalpy for the following reaction:

    Na(g)+Cl(g)-->Na^++Cl^-

    Any chem experts out there?

  • Lighting an outdoor arena?

    Hey guys, I don't know about you but it's been horribly hot here and I think riding at night is sounding like a really good idea. Do you guys know of any lights that would be suitable for lighting a 100x200 arena? Needs to be durable for weather condition and bright enough to see what I'm doing. Thanks!
