Last Saturday, i went to the doctor, strep test came back negative. my voice sounded really bad then. i had huge white spots on my throat, most of which are gone now. The left side of my throat is completely swolen and that has not changed. I felt like crap on Sunday and a couple days after, but now i feel fine.

The only thing really wrong is my swolen throat. It is affecting my singing voice; it's not nearly as strong as it was before. This is a big problem because I have rehersals for my school musical every day and need to be at the top of my game.

I've been taking it easy, talking/singing wise, over the long thanksgiving weekend. I've been taking Vitamin C, Slippery Elm, another handful of vitamins, and I've been drinking this "Throat Coat" tea religiously. It seems to be helping some, but my throat is still swolen!!! The doctor said that this shouldn't last for more than seven days. Today is the eighth day.

What can i do to speed up the healing process?

do you spray it into your throat on the back of your tounge? or do you breathe in as you are spraying it?
