BA in Drawing/Printmaking and have worked full-time as a graphic designer or illustrator 30 years. I use computer graphics software and iMacs and MacBooks, -Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. In the past 20 years I have studied in the evenings at colleges and art schools. I've won awards for my silver, colored pencil, watercolors and oils. I've studied Embroidery, Glass blowing, Weaving, Sculpture, Silver jewelry making, Natural science illustration, Color theory, Colored pencil drawing, Watercolor, Pastel, Plein air, Modernism (2 years), Encaustic, Acrylic, Stained glass and Oil painting which I am doing mostly today. Two mediums I did not like were acrylic and encaustic. I belong to a critique group where we continue to study art history and we create paintings using specific techniques - rough surface, Chagall style, Hockney style, etc. It's a great group.
