Raging Teenager
Hi. My name is raging. Wow what a name. I know. Pretty cool. It's hard in school when you have a name like raging, but I get by. So how are you? If you want to message me to tell me, feel free. If not, feel free. Though I may have to kill you. With a spoon. So it takes longer. Yes I'm looking at you Isaac. Oh and a suggestion to anyone wondering what the point of this monologue is, open your mind a bit, realise that yes I have actually sat here and written this at my computer and am a real person with my own life, so mind your own business! Lolz :D
How can we ever be sure of anything (memory)?
As many books and films have pointed out, it is perfectly possible that memories can be tampered with. Therefore it could be possible for people to erase our memory, or even possibly create it. But what if all our memories, back to being born, were just implanted, and we had just been put here? Every waking moment could be our first. The 'real' world in which people implanted our memories could be nothing like this world. So how can we be sure of anything?

To answer this please consider both in terms of belief and how reasonable that belief is.

14 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoCan you help my LOVE life?
I'm in a group of friends in secondary school. School is going well, just got great results for my first year of GCSE's. But I feel as unhappy as ever. The reason? Read on.
Though well into my teens I haven't yet had a real girl friend lasting for a distinguishable amount of time. That isn't to say I haven't fancied many girls. Even loved some. But one of the girls in my group, a short brunette with glasses, partly emo but mainly just geeky with curly hair caught my eye. I fell in love with her completely. I loved her personality, her confidence, her laugh, her looks, her hair, her eyes, her nose, mouth, ears, clothes, habits, voice... everything. Now we were not very good friends, but I made it my business to get to know her and her to know me as well as possible before I asked her out. So it went on, until I invited her to town, and after going round with another friend with us we took the bus home together and when the friend left I asked her out. She said no, and the excuse was she didn't "want to go out with anyone at the mo". So I said lets just be friends, and that was the end of it.
Or at least it would of been. However over the next 2 months, guess who I couldn't get out of my mind? That girl. Yup, couldn't get over her. I found out after a bit that apparently she had told her friends I had asked her out (I hadn't told mine) and apparently now everyone in our group (15 people bout) knew. But now I'm at the point where I've confided in my best friend, who doesn't know what to do, and I'm stuck. I think I still love her.
Any advice?
2 AnswersSingles & Dating1 decade agoWhy vote Conservative?
Basically, I'm a left-wing dude. And I just don't get the attraction of right wing politics. I know the principals of both wings, and from them I cannot see why you would want more money for the rich and less for the poor. Any help please?
