I've been addicted to Excedrins and generic migraine pills for well over a year and I need to stop. My tolerance has increased with time and I take a total of 6 Excedrins every day, even though I have no headache. I can't get through the day without it because it keeps me wired and I get really fatigued when it wears off. But I've been noticing things like bruises and stomach pains lately and I know they are because of the pills. I've been trying to get off them but everyday I convince myself that, "This is it; this is the last day," and of course it is not the last day.

So what is a fool proof way to end this addiction???

I'm not pre-diabetic or overweight but it runs in my family and I don't want to become at risk.

All they do is complain about how ugly they are and how much they swear they are not fishing for comments. It's super annoying!!

I had a painful breakup two months ago and the pain is still extremely raw. I've never felt like this after a breakup before. In the past I'd picked up and moved on within days. But not this time. I'm sad almost all the time and I'm not even interested in dating anymore. At all. It almost feels like I am grieving a death of a loved one.

Why does this happen to only some breakups? Wouldn't all breakups hurt just the same?

Some days I'm extremely happy and feel on top of the world and like I can do anything and so sure about everything. Then, other days - most days - I feel very sad and cry a lot. But the side effects have recently gotten alarming. I hallucinate. My eyes twitch. It often makes my stomach hurt severely. I got really hungry. I get mild nausea pretty much every day. I'm actually used to it now. My muscles feel like jello often. I'm certain that this is because of the Excedrins.

Can this do serious or or permanent damage? What can I do to stop? Should I seek help? Is there help for over the counter addictions?

My color from the summer takes MONTHS to go away, but when it does I become really pale. People call me a "vampire." People I don't even know stop to tell me I look like a vampire (it possibly has something to do with my preference to black clothes and leather.) Should I take that as an offense? Are people trying to tell me that I am ugly because of my skin color?
