I was raised a conservative, fundamentalist Southern Baptist. I became a licensed Southern Baptist Minister at the age of 16 However, I did not have true peace of mind, and joy in my heart, until I accepted myself the way God made me, which is gay. Because of this, I am no longer welcome in the Baptist church I no longer try to please people or their religion, but remember that God lives in my heart and my relationship with him is not conditioned on anyone elses acceptance of me or my life As an adult I chose against going into the ministry and I work in the importing industry. I attend a progressive Methodist church, and have been in a loving homosexual relationship for 18 years I am an avid runner and health nut . Eventhough, I am a social liberal, I am a fiscal conservative. I have little patience for those that do not take care of themselves physically , mentally or financially. We have one body, one mind and one life. What we make of it, is up to ourselves
