i have 3 computers with a belkin router and zoom dsl modem i have a gateway desktop with a lexmark printer hooked to it and the router connected directly to the desktop. i also have two gateway mt6840 laptops and that share the wireless connection at different times. here is my problem every time the power goes out and comes back on i have to unplug the printer so that the desktop will boot up cause it gets stuck on the gateway screen and wont do nothing and then after i unplug the printer and give the computer time to boot then reconnect the printer after the computer boots and turn the printer on so that the computer wont get stuck the next time the I try to boot it up i have to go to the router settings, and reapply the settings for the security before my laptops will connect why is this? it only happens when the power goes out and back on and that is A lot where i live.

I believe that the 700 billion bailout should have not ever happened, and that business should reap what they sew. But since it has happened and now Detroit's big three is looking to get some of it, I believe that the government should at least make them keep jobs in this country and not fund their overseas projects! If they want the money it they should employ AMERICANS in this country, and not close plants and lay off people! Any business that is looking into getting some bailout money should be having to do something similar towards keeping jobs in this country what do you think?

i have a 1976 chevrolet malibu that has sit for a long time and was wanting to know if i need to rebuild the carburetor, or just take it off and let it soak in cleaner. it has been about 10yrs or longer since it last was started and the gas is older than that. I know the motor hasn't seized cause i put a battery in it and it turned over. i also removed the fuel line going into the carb so that if anything was in the tank and lines it wouldnt mess up my carb. also the carburetor was working fine when last it ran then something happened to the timing so we put the car up. i know i need to change the fuel filter and also run clean gas cause what was in the tank if any is definitly bad. also the fuel pump on the side of the block how can i check it.

if anyone has any other ideas and know how on how to get the engine running please feel free to help.

i also need to know if the gas tank isnt rusted through how can i clean whatever gas it has out of the tank. i dont want to buy a new tank if it can possibly be helped.

when i was growing up i watched a movie on tv one night and don't remember the name it had this guy that was a cop or something like it that went to a fire and somehow got superpowers and could fly but lost them whenever he saw the color red. and the other is about a man that gets killed and turned into a machine or something like it and its not robocop i remember he has a bunch of hoses coming out of him so if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated

Ok I drive a 99 F150 4x4 with a 5.4 triton, recently my service engine soon light has come on, P0171 and P0174 codes showed up it was bank one and two running lean. So far I have cleaned my mass air sensor and turned the light out but it still came on around 30 miles later. I looked up under the hood and found 3 vacuum leaks all coming from the PCV system the rubber elbows were burnt and one was collapsed with a hole my question is would a stopped up catalytic converter cause this.

i believe the o2 sensors were detecting a lean condition because of the vacuum leaks and also the dealership told me that a vacuum leak could set off the P0171 and P0174 codes. Now that i found my leak i need to find out if their is a reason that the leak occurred

i have been told that backpressure on an engine robs power causing the engine to work harder to push out exhuast gases. so if this is true then why did my truck get worse mpg when i installed a free flowing aftermarket cat back exhaust system? it was a generic flowmaster muffler called mellotone that is single inlet with dual outlet ran out the back of the truck. Before the install with stock exhaust i got 15+ mpg, with the cat back exhaust i now get 13 and my driving habits have not changed i have had a watchful eye beieng kept on me by my wife to tell me this. also my truck is a 99 f150 4x4 with a 5.4 triton V8 with a K and N air filter which was installed months before the exhaust.

I am considering a throttle body spacer for a mod on my 99 f150 ext cab with a 5.4 but have not yet made the purchase i want to know what the results are from someone who has done this modification or knows someone that has done this modification i heard that they are only good for about 1 or 2 mpg and i heard that they hurt mpg so i would like to hear from someone who knows first hand

i have a 99 f150 ext cab 4x4, stock 5.4 triton V8 with a k and n air filter. I get about 14 to 15 mpg looking for a few more, and i am considering a throttle body spacer cause i hear that they give a few mpg and better throttle response with a cool sound. What i need to know is with the installation of a throttle body spacer do i need to make any modifications to the computer i am also considering a flowmaster cat back exhaust.

i heard that a sos pad or brillo pad or any steel wool will hurt a chrome wheel and make them rust any truth to this

i believe that the new dodges with their rounded bodylines would look really good if they made a stepside bed option for them i saw a late 90's model with a stepside bed once but it was a chevrolet stepside bed custom fitted and it looked really good.
