Why won't my dropdown menu work?
I'm hosting my site on Hubspot, I don't know if that matters, but the dropdown menus on my website aren't working. This is the site I'm working on: www.iopracticeware.com
It shows that there are "child" pages in the code, but I don't understand why it's not actually showing up when you hover the mouse of the menu. I'm new to this so I don't know how to fix it to make it work. Can anyone help me out?
1 AnswerProgramming & Design7 years agoHow do I wash my natural (exposed) hair without wetting my partial weave?
I had a partial weave installed about 4 weeks ago. Since then I've been washing my hair way too much because my exposed hair gets greasy fast (always has). But I know that if you keep washing the weave, it'll make it last less than it should.
My question is: how do I wash my exposed hair, which is around my crown and sides of my head, and not wet/wash/bother the partial weave in the back?

1 AnswerHair8 years agoAre my testosterone levels too low for a woman?
I just had my blood tests done a few days ago and my doctor told me my testosterone is really low. I was doing some research online and some sites say my numbers are normal, other sites say they're not. I'm not a doctor but I have no idea what these numbers mean. My hair has thinned a lot in the past 3 years so that is why I went to see a doctor. He wants me to get a second opinion by an endocrinologist but I can't get an appointment for another 3 months! Are these levels too low? And can they be the culprit to my thinning hair? (also, I've had an instance of alopecia areata 1 month ago, if that matters, that's never happened before but decided to happen one night)
About me: 25, white female, 5'10", 155 lbs.
Testosterone = 27 ng/dL
Free testosterone (%) = 1.6%
Free testosterone = 4.3 pg/mL
This is exactly what it says on my test results. Too low? Is this causing my hair thinning? Or is my doctor wrong?
1 AnswerWomen's Health8 years agoHow would I store cooked grilled chicken for a salad?
I already know how I'm going to cook the chicken (with butter and garlic sauteed on a stove top, recipe is from online). I want to know how to store the chicken after it's cooked. I want it to last for 2 days (or longer if possible). I want to make enough grilled chcken for the week so i can toss it in a lunch salad every day.
Would i just wrap the chicken in foil or something and put it in the fridge? Can i put it in the bed of greens and toss the entire salad in a container in the fridge?

1 AnswerProgramming & Design9 years agoHelp with a slogan for an alcohol energy shot please!?
For my project, I chose to advertise a shot. The shot consists of fireball whiskey (it's "spicy" and tastes like cinnamon) combined with this espresso flavored liquor. I call the shot "The Firestarter."
My ad sheet is filled with flames. Please help me think of a good slogan! The shot is supposed to be an energy shot, kind of like 5 hour energy or redbull but with cinnamon whiskey and espresso liquor.
What's a good alcoholic energy shot slogan?

I have a bachelor's degree and my major was psychology and minors were business and marketing. Would it be bad if I just switched it and said my major was business with minors in marketing and psychology?
I ask because I've noticed that many corporations aren't interested in the psychology part of my degree...just the business part. I mean, obviously I studied both so would it be OK to switch the two?
5 AnswersLaw & Legal9 years agoMy boss is lying to the unemployment office! Can he do that?
I was let go from my job in late July. My boss called me one morning and specifically stated that he had to let me go because the office had been very slow the past couple of months and that I never had any work to do (which was true, I was always stuck with absolutely nothing to do for hours on end every single day). I filed for unemployment and checked off the box that said "Lack of Work" as reason for my discharge.
I just got a letter today that says my former employer is giving other reasons for my losing my job. My ex boss told the unemployment office that I was using the computer for personal use even after "repeated warnings." Ummm.....what???? My boss said on the phone that day that he was letting me go solely for the fact that there was no work for me to do. Is he allowed to just lie like that?? If it were true, I'd be angry but accept the fact. But it's not! EVERYONE in the office uses their computers for personal use. The office manager alone watches episode after episode of Jersey Shore and one of the brokers plays online poker for hours. We were ALL told verbally one day that we were not allowed to use the computers for personal use. So we stopped. There is no proof that my ex boss has except his word over mine.
I have to fill out this form pending investigation. I'm going to fax it over tomorrow. What are my odds that I can successfully win this? This is so annoying! Why the hell would my boss do that??? Anyways, what are my chances?
5 AnswersGovernment10 years agoONE calendar for ALL coworkers?
I'm looking for some way to share ONE calendar with all my coworkers. Currently, we're all using different apps for our calendars. 2 of us are using outlook, one guy is using google calendars, and the other is using ical.
We're all on Mac computers. I know there's a way to share one calendar across all the Mac machines in the office, but don't I have to set up a server or something? I don't want it to be that complicated.
I just want to know a calendar app or software (mac friendly) that will allow my coworkers and I to use one simple calendar. If a coworker adds an appointment or something, I want the calendar to update right when the appointment is added and we ALL see the newly added event.
ANYONE?

I have the second half of this assignment done, but so very stuck on the lowercase to uppercase part! This is the assignment: Write a C++ program that reads in a text file ( called data10.txt), and prints to the screen the text with all extra blanks removed (that is, if there are 2 or more blanks in a row, replace them by a single blank) and changes all LOWERCASE letters to UPPERCASE letters. WATCH THAT YOU DON”T DELETE CARRIAGE RETURNS and tabs – whitespace includes tabs and carriage returns as well as blanks…so you only want to get rid of extra blank characters.

2 AnswersProgramming & Design1 decade agoC++ PLEASE help with my array!! PLEASE HELP!!!?
Ok so we're supposed to write a C++ program that reads in an integer number and checks if there are any duplicate numbers. I wrote my program and it works RIGHT! However, my professor wants us our program to read in a single integer and then dissect it into digits using % and integer division. She also wants all entries in the array to be set to false. Even though mine works just fine, it's not how she wants it to look like. She gave us this EXAMPLE:
Digit_seen is initially…..[false| false| false |false| false |false| false| false| false| false] remember the index runs from 0 to 9
Suppose the input number is 2131
You peel off the 1 and the array becomes
Digit_seen [false| true| false |false| false |false| false| false| false| false]
the true in position 1 indicates that you have seen a 1
Then peel off the 3
Digit_seen becomes [false| true| false |true| false |false| false| false| false| false]
the true in position 3 indicates that you have seen a 3
Then peel off the 1
When you look at Digit_seen [false|true| false |true| false |false| false| false| false| false]
When you go to position 1, you see that there is already a true there….that is you found a duplicate!
HERE IS MY PROGRAM:
#include <iostream>
#include <cstdlib>
using namespace std;
void read_array(char digits_seen[], int& size);
void check_repeat(char digits_seen[], int size);
int main()
{
const int MAXSIZE = 10;
char digits_seen[MAXSIZE];
char ans;
int size = 0;
do
{
int size = 0;
cout << "Enter a number: ";
cin >> digits_seen[0];
read_array(digits_seen, size);
check_repeat(digits_seen, size);
cout << "Do you want to enter another number? (y/n): ";
cin >> ans;
} while (ans == 'y');
return 0;
}
void read_array(char digits_seen[], int& size)
{
size = 0;
char n;
do
{
cin.get(n);
if (isdigit(n))
{
digits_seen[size] = n;
size ++;
}
} while (size < 10 && isdigit(n));
}
void check_repeat(char digits_seen[], int size)
{
int i, j;
bool repeat = false;
for (i = 0; i < size - 1; i++)
for (j = i + 1; j < size; j++)
{
if (digits_seen[i] == digits_seen[j])
{
repeat = true;
cout << "It has a repeated digit" << endl;
return;
}
}
if (repeat != true)
cout << "No repeated digit" << endl;
}
