2 yo fem Shih Tzu. Treated for chronic ear infections for a year. Isolated root to Allergy (tree spores). Given tramadol, oral & topic antiBs, and Claritin, To comfort her until Allergy Doc follow up next Fri:

Ears appear to be cleared, no significant black goo/cheese cleared up- appears to be "ok" Except that it has ?gone deep? Violently shaking head, whimper, unsettled, cannot comfort her, she is trying to get comfy & cannot-goes from spot to spot-nothing is suitable. reduced appetite- cooking to keep protein and nourishment- but not vigorous, as usual. Ear inspection seems ok- less a bit of odor, semi moist. Sweater has helped Shivering, but feels like she has a temp. Vet said take meds-ride it out. Really Concerned- dramatically different pup-SO uncomfortable. Any suggestions to help, soothe, or treat? CAN an ear infection migrate deep, while clearing up more external? Worried it went "Into" her head?? She's SO miserable- meds will semi-sedate for 3-4 hrs, but little one is just Miserable!!

An employee stole (embezzled) a substantial amount of money: As an employer can these funds be recovered from the employer matched portion of an employees 401K?

(Police & Legal are obviously involved. Fortunately, I will not be "sorting" this out on my own)

While I laid awake thinking about this….The 401K contribution I have made are the only concrete source of funds I could think of, that could possibly cover a portion of this loss.

Can an Employer "Take Back" a matched 401K contribution, in a situation such as this? (YUP, People even steal from Non Profits! 501c3)

2 year old mini Shih-tzu, has chronic ear cheese since moving to the West Coast from Florida. I've tried *everything*, working with medicated ear-wipes and ear powder this month. Sorry for the graphics-It's black waxy cheese...that has a funk odor (like...bad Fritos soaked in lemonade) with maybe a hint of yucky sweat sock. Vet knows my Visa# by heart, and the munchkin has lost her spunk. Seeing a Doggy Dermatologist next month, but have tried benadryl...(and steroids, anti-biotics, anti-fungals, NSAIDS, acupuncture & some stinky herbal crap.

A-N-Y valid serious ideas or opinion appreciated!

In my short time checking out Yahoo-Answers, I have found a whole lot of really, disturbing Q's from kids, who seem to have had little or NO Sexual Education, what so ever. (Not just the vacant dumb questions that are clearly for attention or shock value...or flagrant fabrication) No, Im talking about the REAL questions, Plan B, "Am I Pregnant", HELP! Can I get Pregnant from....

Those questions. I did not grow up with texting, or sexting, or the highly developed internet with You-Tube & Facebook. But, somewhere in all this crush of information we as a society, parents, people, somewhere in there it seems as though we have overlooked educating our kids, Really Educating them about the reality, health, body function & systems, of sexuality and sexual development. They appear to know just enough to "Have Sex'....but past that? Things look pretty shaky at best! Putting aside the Religious issues, that lean towards "No Info=No Sex" (eye roll), and facing the reality that No Info, clearly has demonstrated just Uninformed, Unprotected, DUMB Sex. ?I Wonder....as a country, a society, would we consider a program of Sex Ed for our children, funded by a flat tax of? $2 a year for every tax-paying person. A voluntarily participated in program, After School, that was a comprehensive, factual education on Human Sexuality OR Even a Web Based program, like the Kahn Institute (Bill Gates supported non-profit, that is classes, tutorials on everything from English to Advanced Calculus.) As I read, the repeated, redundant, uneducated, impregnated, possibly impregnated questions asked on this forum: I am scared for our future. Not only are babies having babies having babies....but uneducated uninformed babies making decisions that affect their entire life at age 14, 15, 16, are having babies and its Socially Popular. Reality is, wellfare & social programs pick up the tab for a vast majority of these pregnancies & children. We are paying for it now, through the nose, and the Little Dutch Boy's finger?...Its Not Stemming the Tide!

I'm asking because I am, truly, stumped. I've seen More Questions on here from people who don't use birth control...and then Panic Post: ?Am I Pregnant? ?Is my girlfriend pregnant? Or my favorite, "I'm 16 and Pregnant...is that too young to have a baby?"

Really, for anyone who has made one of these posts, could have, or has experience with this "genre"...Can you tell me Why? Why, do you have sex without protection if you aren't ready to face a pregnancy?....(p.s- condoms DO Not, repeatedly break. It's a Statistical Anomoly to have spontaneous condom failure, with proper use) Over & Over, the same question, Am I Pregnant? Could I be pregnant...et al. What's the Real Deal here kids: Is this just a rush of dramatic outburst, or scarier- Baby Russian Roulette? Y'all don't appear to have just one "close call" it's repeatedly written, "the last time..." NO Judgement: Are you not being educated on preventing pregnancy, is this just drama for attention, or are you really thinking that it can't happen to you & are truly shocked when you find yourself in that no-period limbo land?

I Have To Ask...Just, "WHY"?...feel free to include any how on that thought process too.
