I'm a woman, a wife, a mom, the chief in charge of our menagerie of pets (one dog, one cat, one rabbit, one horse and a few guppies). I spend a lot of time at a horse stable praying my daughter doesn't break her neck. I worked in corporate America for 22 years and in 2006 I decided it was time to hang up my suits and stay home. Our daughter needed me here, so here I stayed. I made it for about a year before I found the perfect job with "mommy hours". I'm independent in both politics and religion. I married a kind man - a long tall Texan who I love more now than I did 22 years ago when we said "I do". I've shared the journey with infertility, the adoption process, breast cancer, the slow death of someone I deeply love and a few other travelers that have made me a little wiser than I used to be and very grateful to be alive.
