  • Help with handling Veiled Chameleon?

I got a Chameleon 4 days ago and I'm loving him. I usually try to keep my distance from him and I let him get a bit used to me being around him. The 4th day I handled him. I slid my hand under him slowly and he hissed at me which is understandable due to the fact he's not used to me, but he got on my hand and I let him know I wasn't going to hurt him. I then put him back in his cage and left him alone. He doesn't hiss at me when I put my hands in the cage to give him food or to clean it, and he doesn't run from me when I mist it. I just wanted to know the best way to help not stress him out when I handle him and how often I should attempt. I know Chameleons aren't the friendliest little guys and it takes time for them to adjust, and I just want the best for him.

  • How to get a new baby Veiled Chameleon to eat?

I just got a new Veiled Chameleon yesterday and I m honestly loving him, he s cool. I just don t want the poor thing going hungry. I put one meal worm in his bowl and a cricket just to see if he would eat it and I sprayed water on a plant for him to lick it off but he doesn t seem to be eating or drinking. I know he might just be adapting to his new habitat, but I m just a bit worried.
