What are the various responses that have been given to the argument from evil? Yup, I have a philosophy essay exam coming up so any extra info helps:) This is the rest of the topic: What are some of the theories of consciousness that attempt to solve/dissolve this problem? Be sure in answering this question you discuss ontology, including how dualists have responded to the problem, as well as contemporary materialist solutions to understanding consciousness.

2) Self--What are the philosophic problems that occur when discussing the traditional concepts of the "Self?" In answering this question discuss the following philosophers and their theories on the Self in detail: Descartes, Locke, Hume, and Kant.
