  • New Pro Football League?

I got recruited to play Tight End for a team called the Salt Lake Senate. They have a 12 game season with 5 teams in our league. They are located in Utah while I am in the PDX area. They seem somewhat legit, though I am not sure if I want to commit to them over finding a legit job in the coming weeks. It would be an 11 hour drive to practice, and more importantly I do not know if they could get me connected to other pro teams like Arena , CFL or even Europe teams. Is playing this season with them worth my time or not?

  • Arena Football or Reclaim Last Yr. Of Eligibility?

I started my college football career in 2011 and I redshirted the same year. In the years that followed, I missed most of the seasons and years I could have played in the years that followed. I missed most of 2012 due to a concussion and a hernia. I sat out in 2013 due to injuries from the last year and transferred to a JUCO before missing 8 games due to a partially torn meniscus. I tried out for my state's D1 team in 2015 and was not selected. So I played D1 rugby until I got a major concussion from my teammate tackling me while we were both on defense and I almost died. I tried out for my school's team again in 2016 and again was not selected. I had plans of transferring D3 or Canadian college before pulling both my quad and hamstring. I sat out of 2017 and did not try out due to those injuries. I was going to try out in 2018. However I tore both sides of my meniscus and dislocated my knee. I did my rehab and yet retore a surigically repaired part of the meniscus. That part had to be removed and the bone had to be shaved in 2019.

Given the circumstances of 2020 with Covid, I was unable to tryout for the team though I did get my bachelors degree. Long story short I missed most of the decade due to injuries. I want to try out again as a graduate transfer. At the same time I am flirting with the idea of simply going pro through arena and then making my way to a training camp. I am 6'2 240 and I play LB/TE/RB. Should I chance another tryout or just turn pro?

  • Can I a 26 year old living paycheck to paycheck get a girlfriend in a college town?

I fix computers and am finishing my last year of college at OSU. I barely make enough to survive, let alone go out and see the world around me. Even though I have an athletic build and I m 6 2, I have dated only a few women in my short life. Is there any chance that I could change my relationship status, or should I just finish my math degree first and get my money up so it all falls into place?
