Hey.

I've had my Nikon D80 for about....2 years, and I attempt to read the manual but it goes right over my head. I generally know only the basics.

I run my own event every 3 months, and have currently switched venues and it's a lot darker inside than the last venue.

I don't have a flashgun but I was thinking about hiring one out for the weekend of the event. Is this a good start? I don't really like using a flash because it gives off horrible shines and colours, but I'm not sure what else to do?

I only have two lenses;

18-135mm

and 70-300mm macro

The event has quite a few different coloured lights too.

It's not fair. We get hounded by media, government, press e.t.c to eat healthy. I'm all for it. But the problem I have is that healthy food is generally more expensive, and not only that, healthy food tends to not have such a long shelf life. So why are we paying more to be healthy and less to be overweight. If I had the money I probably wouldn't complain, but I want to be healthy but I can't afford it - it's ridiculous!

I love my Asian dramas! I was just hoping people could suggest me some more to watch! I like young dramas, with love :)

I'm going to be moving into my own house soon for the first time ever, I'm really excited and I'm looking forward to living my life different without parents!

I have been thinking about growing my own herbs & spices as I love them both. But what are the ones that I can start growing now?

And do I keep them inside or out?

I am going to be moving into rented accomodation soon, and whilst we are allowed to decorate, I highly doubt removing the electric fire in the living room would be allowed. It is old, and very ugly. I absolutely hate these kind of fires! They also take up far too much space but there is nothing I can do about that!

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on covering it up some how?

I know you can get radiator covers, and I was trying to google a similiar thing for the electric fires, but no luck

Please help!

Well. I understand that change is needed everywhere, especially on the internet - to keep things fresh and exciting. But am I the only one who is really disappointed with the new layout? I mean, i'm not putting the designers down or anything, the actual design of it is nice...it's the functioning of the whole section. I much much prefered the old layout - the browsing through videos was much easier, now I just find it irritating! Anyone else?
