Recent events have really made me question if there is any hope for humanity and planet.....and now I am SO bummed out!!

Events like:

-Health experts say a pandemic flu threat is substantial

-12,000 kids infected with hand,food and mouth disease in China (over 20 deaths)

-all the sexual,mental and physical abuse of the women and children of the FLDS cult went through as well as the daughter that was locked in her fathers basement for 24 years as his captive and all the others who suffer from any abuse of any kind.

-Volcano eruption in Chile

-12,000 + gone in Myanmar

-Darfur

-the war, any war, seems like theirs always one going on somewhere....

I know there's more but I don't want to get everyone else completely bummed out too....

Any suggestions that I can get to try and get myself outta this funk?What works for you?

Obviously, they have have lots of money. Good for them. But to squander THAT much money on a 2 yr. old that won't even remember it while all across the country ppl are losing thier homes,still don't have homes (from katrina) and everywhere ppl are hurting(financially).
