I filed i130 in June to petition for my UK husband to move to USA.I have dual nationality of UK/USA and raised in UK where we both live.

I will be sponsoring my husband to move to USA.We were under the impression it takes up to a year for the visa interview-yet he has been asked to make his medical exam appointment anytime from next week!! .So how long will it be after that until his Visa interview? bearing in mind i am his sponsor and still living and working in UK!!.

I am a USA citizen,spent most of my life in UK as my parents are British (i was born in USA).

My husband and i are planning to move to USA.I am adopted and my USA birth mother has offered to co sponsor him as well as me co-sponsoring him.Is this possible as she is not a "legal" relative.

I am still in UK but plan to go to USA very soon to look for a job by myself.My husband should get his visa interview around next Feb/March.I don't expect my birth mother to financially support him but more hoping it would support my petition.

I live in UK and have sent away the application to the London USA embassy to petition for my spouse of 3 yrs so we can move to USA (I have dual nationality UK/USA) What i am wondering is how long does it normally take for the whole visa process from beginning to end.I am aware i need to be over there first and earning a wage of around $18,000 and i am also aware jobs are in shortage but i have lived and worked there before and hope to return to one of my old jobs.I just need a time frame to know when i should start making plans to go..thanks for your help...

Anyway i have just filed the 1-130 forms and now am wondering that when my husband goes for his interview ( which we are assuming won't be this year as there is a backlog) will i be told to go to USA and find a job first? I have relatives there so accomodation is ok but not sure if we can both go together or if he has to wait here in UK while i go job-hunting.I was single when i lived in USA before.This time we will have been married 3yrs in August.

Hi,i am due my period on Sunday 14th and have found i have bouts of heartburn 2/3 times a day for 3 days now.I never get heartburn and not been eating spicy/fatty foods.I once had it after a bow of cheerios!.It also kept me awake last night.

How many US dollars would someone need to start a business in USA? I am asking this on behalf of my husband,I have dual UK/USA passports but have been told i need to move to USA alone for about 2 yrs before i can petition for him to come out as i have only lived there 2 yrs out of 40yrs.The only other option is for him to go on a business visa.I can legally get a job in USA,but the option for living alone for 2 yrs or more is a last option.

Hi,i have asked this question before,but didn't get the answers i was hoping for...Basically i have dual citizenship,raised in UK.I have been married to a UK citizen for 2 years,we want to emigrate to USA.At present we are NOT looking into Green card,just a visa then sort the green card out later for my husband.What we are not sure about is this (a) once we arrive in USA with appropriate visa,can my husband legally work and (b) is he able to go on my health insurance once i am working or does he have to apply for a new immigrant health care program.

Also,is it possible to move to USA and apply from there for his visa or must it be done in UK? W married in UK 2 yrs ago.I have lived/worked in USA before so i am fine,it's just my husband we wre confused about.

Ok,so i have dual passports and have lived all my life in UK,apart from 2 yrs working in USA,back in 2000

.I got married in UK 2 yrs ago,and now we want to return to settle in USA.My British husband can apply for a marriage visa,but what confuses us is this (a) When can he get a job,does he have to be there a certain amount of time before he can look? and (b) If i get a job would my health insurance cover him? obviously we can't go before we figure out the health insurance part,hopefully i can support us both if he isn't allowed to work.

My husband and i would like to live in New Hampshire ,USA.We presently live in UK and don't hold drivers licences,but i plan to work on mine once in the USA.For that we need to live somewhere with easy ish access to jobs/shopping etc.We have relatives in southern NH .Also i was born in USA so hold an american passport,have lived/worked there before,am completely legal.

I ovulated on or around Feb 22nd,so we ttc during that time.Anyways my job is pretty stressful ( i work with dementia patients) i worked Friday to Monday,10.5 hour days and have been utterly exhausted those days,like nothing i have experienced before,i just wanted to cry!!.I felt i was in a fog i was so tired! I am not sick,so it can't be that,but surely it's far too early to have symptoms? my period is due anytime between Thur and Sat,i tend to go between 26-29 days in my cycle. I never felt tired at work in that way before btw,and have been doing this job almost 7 years!.

Ok,this may sound silly but we are going to visit USA next week,and are getting given Ipods as gifts from relatives in New York,to use on our travels.I was just wondering if they will be ok to use in Uk,meaning will they be the same to download songs onto once back home .will they need different requirements?.I hate for all that money to be wasted if they don't work!.Thanks!
