So earlier I was watching Netflixaand the show was in Spanish (which I did not realize). I always have subtitles on but I was only half paying attention and wasn't reading them anyway. So something else distracted me and after awhile I resumed my show and I was confused that what I had been hearing was indeed not English, but Spanish. I have been taking Spanish classes, but even with those I would only understand about 1/12 of what was being said and I heard English not Spanish. I can't find anything about this online and I really just want to know how/why I perfectly understood the Spanish as if it was spoken in my own tongue.

There is a certain place (that will go unnamed) that I have bad history with and I don't trust them. Everyone one keeps asking me to donate to them and I don't want to be rude, but I would NEVER donate to them. What should I say?

I always hear people say it is hard to loose weight, but I am a skinny girl, and I can't seem to gain pounds, to the point where I am a little underweight. I am lucky if I stay about the same and don't loose weight. Also when I eat junk food it doesn't help me gain any, it keeps me the same. It is so hard to gain weight, not loose it. So, why do people always say it is hard to loose weight, when I can't gain a pound through a whole year?
