I currently have my cellphone number on facebook set so it can only be seen by me. One of the people on my friends list (who never had my number before) got a new phone this morning and when she synced her contacts with facebook, my number was added to her phone contacts list. Is there another option on there somewhere that prevents this from happening?

I went to get my car inspected and they said I have pretty much nothing left on my front break pads, both sides. So it wont pass inspection.

The place I usually go to for my oil change and basic maintenance quotes me an estimate of $315 parts $250 labor. I called around and found a shop that can do it for $220 total.

I would really like to save the $300 but with brakes I don't know what they would be doing at the second shop to get it so cheap.

I don't really know much about breaks so:

Are there different quality brakes? Like, if I use cheaper ones will i not slow down as well? or would they just not last as long?

I have people who have gone to the cheaper guy and haven't had problem. I just don't know if its a case of "you get what you pay for" Thanks

I am having Really bad mouse problems. The cursor lag is horrible and it wont click properly. The cursor speed caries greatly and disappears and reappears randomly. I have to hold the button down a few seconds to make the computer realize I am clicking. I made sure all the software was installed right. I have hooked up the mouse to another PC With Windows 7 to make sure it wasn't a problem with the mouse. I updated all the drivers. Even formatted my computer to make sure the operating system was installed right and I am still having these problems. Any Suggestions?

I live in a place that gets DSL and there are multiple occupants that like to use X-Box Live. I bought two Linksys E2000 Wireless routers with the hopes of having all necessary ports for X-Box Live forwarded to the second router and having the 3 X-boxes hooked up to the second router to ensure maximum connection strength for all of them.

Before I go any further, would this work?

On the second router I have it set up to get a static IP from the first, and I forwarded the necessary ports from the first to the second. Its not working.

-Does my second router need a different subnet mask then the first? or does that even matter?

-For the second router, I inputted the three DNS numbers I found when i did the IPCONFIG on my PC, are those exclusive to one IP? or is that something i get from my internet provider.

-I have UPnP disabled for both routers (I know that the X-Box website says to turn this on but when it was just my X-box hooked up it made my NAT moderate but as soon as i turned it off it went to open)

Anything I am missing or anything I jut have wrong? Any help is appreciated.

Currently in my computer I have two 250gig hard drives and one 500gig hard drive and I have one 2TB hard drive I plan on putting in my computer later today. Is there a way to set it up so that when I add or change the files on one hard drive the backup I have for that hard drive is changed in the same manor?

Like, on the 250gig hard drive I keep all my pictures and files for school and music. And I want it so that my second 250gig hard drive is pretty much a clone of the one I am using for everything so that every time I make a change on the one I am using the same change is made on the backup.

Also, if this is possible, would doing so cause the backup to be damaged if the primary one got corrupt?

I pre ordered GoW3: Ultimate Edition and between the release of the game and now, my PS3 was busted. So I have decided to sell the game but keep Pandora's Box because it looks pretty sweet. Now, my question:

Is the codes for the DLC in the game case? I watched this video:

and in it, the DLC is on a separate sheet outside of the game case but mine did no come with one. So I am wondering if there are any versions that have the code inside the case?

I am trying to replace the casing of my PS3 because I dropped something on the top and it cracked. Its not under warranty and I already have the replacement shell but there is a screw that is an odd star shape with a bump in the middle. What I was able to find was that it is a Torx head screw. But what I need to know is the size I need and whether standard Torx screwdrivers have the hole in it or if I need special ones. Thanks.

I don't do much gaming from my PC except for old classics like Fallout and Warcraft. I use my computer for more watching videos and backing up my DVD and CD collections. The newest game I do play is World of Warcraft but my old rig got water damaged in a storm so I was just going to do a new one and this is what I came up with.

Okay. My friend's PS3 got the yellow light that comes with the system becoming non-functioning. I am trying to help him back up his hard drive data before he sends it off to get fixed. I know that you need to have an external hard-drive formatted in the FAT32 file system. I have a 300gb external and when i tried to format it through the command prompt, the computer told me it was too big to be formatted with FAT32 (this was after 4 hours of the computer saying it was working on it). So I want to try and partition it so I have 80GB of free space to make the FAT32 system but the partition wizard in the computer management page of the control panel wont let me do anything besides NTFS. So is there even a way to make a partition FAT32 and if so, how do I accomplish this?

I have internet provided by WildBlue which is a satellite internet connection. I have the modem hooked up to Linksys WRT160N modem with Firmware Version: v3.0.02. My main computer is connected via Ethernet cable and there are 3 other computers connected through wireless. Here is what is happening on all 4 computers while using both Firefox and Internet Explorer..

Sometimes security certificates from various frequently visited websites. Like when trying to go to the homepage for my credit card company it will get the certificate for my insurance company's web page.

Typing in one URL will lead to wrong websites. Like for 3 hours on all computers, anytime you tried to go to Google, it was redirected to Myspace. And another time all links within Facebook went to eBay.

Is this normal or could I have something really wrong with my internet? Thanks.

My sister drove home from work and her car was working fine. Went outside 40 minutes later to head back to work and it wont start. All it does is make a click noise. We tried jumping it but that didn't help. Any thought or simple things I can check or change to try to get her running again? Thanks.

My driver side headlight cover has gone from clear to cloudy and was curious as to how this happens, its not scratches i check for that. Also, is there a way to fix it or should i just go buy a new one.
