  • Middle names for my fave baby names?

I have some baby names that I like but don't have middle names for. You can combine them and/or suggest new middle names or first names.

    Boys: Julian, Mason

Girls: Mackenzie, Brynnleigh, Paige, Maya, Alexa, Arianna, Camryn, Harper

BQ. Alternate spellings for Brynnleigh? Brinnley, Brynnlee, Brynnlie, etc? What do you like the best or do you have any suggestions?

Thanks. I'm not pregnant or anything, just fillin up my baby names list.

  • Is 15 too young to start birth control if I'm not having sex?

I have pretty cramps during my period (well, I'm sure some people have it worse, but a lot of people have it better too), like I take Advil non-stop during my period (one every 4 hours) and my stomach still hurts a little bit. If I don't take any it hurts sooo bad; I just want to curl up and die lol. I'm pretty sure taking that much Advil at a time probably isn't too healthy for my stomach though (ibuprofen is absorbed through the stomach).

My sister started birth control when she was 16 I think. Also, my mom took birth control when she was a teenager because she had bad cramps (not sure how old though.)

So anyway, my question is could I, or would it be weird or unhealthy or something? I don't know. I would take it for cramps and for the benefit of skipping some of my periods (like for volleyball season, I don't want to have the hassle of changing pads or tampons for tournaments every single weekend, since I'm just starting senior this fall.)

  • What is it that inspires you?

In terms of writing. Like, where do you get your ideas for writing (be it novels, short stories, essays, poems, anything)?

When I read a really good book, I just feel inspired to write, even if I don't know what to write about. And lots of times when I'm watching tv I'll just randomly start thinking of an idea for a book. What about you?

  • What do you think of my story character names?

I have a few (4) stories (hopefully to become novels *sometime* in the *far* future lol) that I'm working on and I was just wondering if you guys liked my characters' names.

    1. Lauren and John Preston have three children, Ryan, Fabian, and Alia. Sonya and Sebastian DeMone have two, Rose and Tobias (this family is supposed to have uncommon names). Fabian's best friend is named James and his girlfriend is named Macy. Fabian and Rose eventually fall in love (it's much more complicated than that) and have a daughter named Emily.

    2. Ashleigh/Katherine Bennett (depending on which version of the story I'm looking at) is the main character. Her dead brother is named Joshua, and so is her baby (born much, much later). Her ex-boyfriend is named Jon, and her gay best friend is named Codi. Her boyfriend/ex-therapist is named Nathan.

    3. Cole and Evelina Taylor have three children, Sierra, Molly, and Cameron (boy). Their babysitter is named Devyn/Alyssa (again, depending on the version I look at; her name is supposed to be uncommon, and Devyn is my newer choice).

    4. Adelaide is a single mother with three children, Lance, Craig, and Brooke. Lydia is the main character.

  • Advil liqui-gels and heartburn?

So I've been taking Advil Liqui-gels every four hours since Sunday afternoon because I'm having menstrual cramps. I've been fine except my last one I took, I took it with a bit of pepsi and since then, my chest/throat hurts a little. And I kind of feel like I could throw up. And whenever I burp (it feels like I have to), it makes the burning worse at the top of my throat. Is this heartburn? And why did I just randomly get it?

  • Worried about getting my period?

I'm going on a ski trip with my friends in a week and I think I'm going to get my period right before or during. We are staying in a hotel with a swimming pool, hot tub, and water slide. I'm worried that I'm going to get my period while I'm in the water. Is it true that the water pressure holds your menstrual fluid in? And if I get out to go on the water slide or something, will it all come gushing out? I really don't know what to do and I know this has been asked a lot, but can someone help me? And don't say wear a tampon because you're not supposed to put a tampon in if you haven't gotten your period yet, and I'm not 100% sure it will come on the ski trip. Thanks in advance.

  • A couple of period questions?

    1) I'm going on a ski trip with my school in a couple weeks and I think I might get my period before or during it. I was wondering, during the day while skiing, should I use Always Super Ultra-Thin or Always Infinity Regular? I usually use the second but my mom bought some of the first and I thought I might try it. This sounds kind of gross, but which would hold more? Because one is Super (which holds more than regular) but one is Infinity (which supposedly can hold 6x more than you may need). So which one should I use?

    2) We are staying in a hotel with a waterslide, pool, and hot tub. I'm kind of anxious as I've only used a tampon once before, and it was a little hard to take out because I had it in for 7 hours. And when I panic, I cry. So I'm kind of scared to use a tampon. Any tips or suggestions?

    3) I know this will be the stupidest question ever, but I'm sort of desperate. Is there any way to speed up my period (make it come now, so it doesn't come on the ski trip) or hold off on it (so it comes after the ski trip)? I'm not on birth control so I can't skip it.

Thanks in advance and if you can only answer one or two, it's okay. I'm kinda really worried about this so I hope someone can help.

  • Would this look good?

I have dark brown hair and it's kind of plain looking, and I've been wanting to dye it for a while now. Would this look good? Black low-lights and light brown hi-lights?

Would this look better? Black low-lights with red hi-lights? (Or would red be considered low-lights?)

    Thanks.

  • Ways to make money quickly?

I'm a 14 year old girl, I'm saving up for a blackberry and a camera. I'm not doing any surveys. Since I'm only 14, no one will hire me and there's only one restaurant in my extremely small town anyways that's not even hiring. I'm not going to shovel snow (people just do it themselves), or walk dogs (I don't even walk my own even though I should :/). I probably come off as super lazy and shallow, but pleeeease help. I'm not shallow, really, and I am kinda lazy, but whatever. I'll do work when I have to. Everyone has their flaws lol. Also, no one ever needs babysitting in this place for some reason, so that won't work either. Does anyone have any ideas that could help me?

  • Question... TMI but still help?

At about the same time I started wearing thongs, I got constipated. It's been a while now and I still am, I think. This is the gross TMI part. Around the er, anus, it feels like squishy. It doesn't hurt except when I'm wiping it with toilet paper but I think that might be the reason I can't have a proper bowel movement. It's not hemorrhoids, is it? Because there's no blood, it's not itchy, and it only hurts then, and sometimes when I sit down. Real answers please.

  • How to cure constipation naturally?

I haven't had a really good, er... bowel movement in about a week. Even after that though, it still felt like everything had... come out. And since then, I've only had a little bit come out once or twice a day when I try to have a bm. Is there any way to cure this without using stool softeners? I don't really want to go out and buy any or anything... and I don't want an enema or anything if it gets too bad so I want to cure it now. So.. help?

  • Sims 3 Question? Help please?

Okay well a girl died in my game, she didn't have any relatives. She lived with her boyfriend and his mother. Will I get the "Oh My Ghost" opportunity? Also, is there a way to force it or something?

And, is there any other way to resurrect her? Like.. any cheats? I'm okay with cheats to get this chick back. Thanks.

  • Um, is this chicken good?

Okay well I made some chicked nuggets and my parents told me to cook it for 15 minutes at 350 degrees. I did and they didn't look like they normally do and they were squishy instead of crunchy. So I put them back in for 5 more minutes and they still don't look like normal, they're too light. And they're still sorta squishy. But they taste normal... I think. Is it good?

  • How to make my wrist stop hurting?

I don't know exactly what happened, but it might have been me leaning on my hand to read in bed. Anyway, my wrist hurts whenever I bend it, either way. Sometimes it does this, but it only stays for a day or two. It's been about a week now and I'm scared it won't stop hurting before school starts, because it would hurt too much to do pushups and I don't think my gym teacher would like that very much. So does anyone have any advice?

  • 7th Heaven Season Finale Question?

Okay, when the season finale first came on the air (the last one, the actual end of the series), my mom and I both watched it. We both remember Lucy being pregnant with twin boys and Sandy telling Simon he was the father of Aaron. Again, I'm talking about the season 11 finale, the last season. We started watching it again when reruns started playing on a channel we have. The last epidode had neither of the events we saw. Lucy was pregnant with a baby boy, but not twins. And Sandy never told Simon he was the father. Does anyone have an explanation?

PS, Does anyone know why the channel (a Christian channel) skipped the episode "Christmas"? I'm pretty sure Eric has a heart attack in it. Did it get banned or is it 'bad' for the channel or something?

    Thanks. =)

  • What does labor feel like?

    I don't want a detailed answer, I just have a few questions.

Contractions: do they feel like really bad menstrual cramps?

Do you still feel cramps when you're not having a contraction?

That's all I wanted to know really. I'm not pregnant and not planning to get pregnant anytime soon, I'm just morbidly curious.

  • Guys: Question. Personal though?

Well not personal... just... err, nvm.

Do you care if a girl has a lot of hair down there? Or do you want her to be totally bare? Or do you not care at all? Just a question.

  • Will this hurt my eyes?

When I got my contacts (Mediflex Aquafinity... or Aquifinity, I don't know which), my eye doctor told me to only wear them for twelve hours a day. But, honestly, this is so not realistic. I am awake for at least 14 hours a day. Will it hurt my eyes to wear them longer? It's not uncomfortable from experience, and if they do get uncomfortable, I'll take them out. But, I just want to know if this will hurt my eyes, because, I hate having to wear my glasses half the day and my contacts half the day. Thanks.
