I'm pulling my own wisdom teeth. Any advice?
I have TMJ due to my wisdom teeth coming in and cannot afford to have them pulled.
I'm not actually going to pull the wisdom teeth but one of the teeth in front of them.
My question is, which tooth should i pull and what precautions should i take? I already have tools and suction to clean the blood out... as far as anesthetics I'm not too worried about pain..
I'm pretty dead set on this, so please just give me real advice rather than saying "see a dentist." I cant afford that nonsense. The TMJ is making me dizzy, tired, and nauseas at all times of the day and it is ruining my grades in college -- i need this gone!
8 AnswersDental1 decade agoWhat is considered a high DAT score?
I am looking foward to attending dental school in two years time, and i am wondering what would be considered a very high DAT score. Also, is there a maximum score?
Lastly, for those of you who have taken the DAT, can you give me any study tips? Especially for the PAT section.
2 AnswersHigher Education (University +)1 decade agoAm I too needy?
Well, just asked if i was doing something wrong, and recieved some kind answers but one girl brought up a good point... she asked if i was being too needy?
I do not think i am, because i honestly dont give a crap if i have a girlfriend or not for the time being. I am pursuing a career in Orthodontics and am very secure about being single for a few years (honestly, dont care either way).
The problem was that whenever i make plans with a female i get stood up... i show that i am excited to hang out with them, because i am (not desperately or anything) and i do not express that i dont care if i have a girlfriend or not (so they wont think i'm just using them, because of my indifference)....
So, the main question here is, what would be signs to a girl that a guy is needy? I dont think of myself as needy but maybe i am throwing some flares up that makes them think otherwise?

So here's my dilemma... I'm an intellegent, average looking, confident guy. I am not afraid to flirt with women and I always make eye contact when i'm speaking with them.. My problem is that whenever i get a date set up, they flake out on me. I have no idea why that is.
I personally think it is immaturity on their part, but does anyone else have any ideas of what would make them do that, knowing that i'm a nice guy (not a pushover) that is charming and intellegent? Maybe it's because i'm livin in a small town where "dumb" = good quality to have.
6 AnswersSingles & Dating1 decade agoCan I make it to Dental School and beyond?
I am wondering just how hard it is these days to get into Dental school. Not any specific dental school, but would be the minimum requirements i could land a spot with?
I am aspiring to be an orthodontist after dental school, and i'd like to know what i need to look foward to going through. Is becoming an orthodontist extremely hard and only for VERY intellegent, or is it something that a moderately intellegent person (can handle Organic chem quite easily) get through with the proper motivation?
1 AnswerHigher Education (University +)1 decade agoOld Cartoon Network show???
I used to watch this show all the time when i was a kid. The features i distinctly remember is a green rhino that shot little orange rocks out of it's horns at enemies and a beige blob that deflected enemy shots and wrapped around enemies, along with some human friends. The plot is this: they are in a deserted canyon setting with new random enemies that they have to kill every show. Does it get any better than that?
Does anyone know what this show was called?!?
