Because I haven't read the book yet and I watched the movie already and my friends told me that John was portrayed different in the book and so was Savannah. Can someone tell me how the author described them in the book?

I've downloaded a Facebook application (it's a .sis file) and I was wondering how to transfer that file to my phone so I could then install it? Should I just copy and paste it on my memory card using a card reader or do I have to do some complicated things like download this and that and use this and that? I just bought my phone and I don't know how to use it that well. Please help me out, any sensible and helpful answer would be gladly appreciated. :)
