  • Anyone know of a urban legend about Shingusty Indians?

So my grandfather used to tell me stories about a tribe of indians that lived deep in the rocky mountains (Wind River or Owl Creek range I believe) in Wyoming in an area that had never been mapped out by man that time had passed by until sattelites mapped it out. He said that the tribe was called the Shingustys and that the Northern Arapaho (his tribe) and Eastern Shoshone believed this tribe still lives there is secret and that they take kill any outsiders that find their camp. Some legends even say they are short cannibals all under 5 6. Now I know the legend isn't true but I was wondering if anyone else has heard stories like this or if my Grandpa was just making it up to scare us?

  • Songs About people left behind by suicide?

So I like having songs too relate too in my music library and suicide has been a recurring issue in my life. I would like a song about the people left behind. Not just one person feeling sorry for themselves but how it messes with the relationships between the people left behind. Like how some grow closer while others burn bridges. Some struggle for months others years. That sort of thing. The only song I have right now in Never too late by three days grace, but it's about having a friend contemplate suicide not the aftermath.

If you know of a song like that I would be grateful if you would share it. I like Needtobreathe, Mumford and Sons type music, but am open to anything. Thank you!

  • How to watch Naruto without fillers and pointless battle sceens?

So I watched all available Naruto and Naruto Shippuden episodes and want to begin rewatching the series but two things are keeping me from doing it; The amount of fillers and the pointless battle episodes. I want to skip most of the filler episodes though I would like to keep the funny and character building fillers, but not to many. I want to skip the pointless battle episodes unless they carry major character development. So if a character fights another for three episodes with minor and obvious character development lets skip that please.

So here is my challenge to you write a list of Naruto episodes so I can rewatch the series and not watch lots of fillers and pointless battle episodes!

Thanks times 100 in advance!!! It doesn't need to be perfect just a little trimmed down ;)!!!!!

  • Should I get a teaching degree or a certification?

So I will be starting college in the fall, and I have no doubt in my mind that I want to become a high school teacher, but I have one problem when I went to orientation and got my advising I was rather disappointed with my adviser and the education department overall.. I hope to teach in the social studies department hopefully in world history or cultures type classes. Because of this passion I would like to study abroad for a year and while my university has a great study abroad program the education college makes studying abroad very difficult on it's students (have heard this from several education majors as well as my former teachers). When I went to get my advising session for a social studies education degree with a concurrent (not double) major in History I was very disappointed with my advisor. Being an internationally minded person I wanted to continue my studies of German and Mandarin Chinese into college especially since I want to eventually teach in these countries for a year or so. My advisor refused to let me study both languages at once and told me I had to study them in separate semesters which any language learner knows makes retaining the language impossible. Because of this I consulted with a well respected former teacher of mine and she advised me major in history and whatever else I want and then enroll in year long teacher certification program.

Will this hurt my job opportunities? Can anyone tell me of their experience teaching with a certification?

  • Korean Dramas about the Relationship?

There are a lot of Korean Dramas about romance but in a large portion of them the characters only get together in the very end and you never really get to see them in the relationship. I would some korean drama recommendations where they get together within the first 5 episodes and the rest of the show is about the relationship they are in. I like the ones when they get married like Paradise Kiss, and you get to see their married life.

    Thanks for the help! ;)

  • Help! Need more romance comedy anime/manga?

So I I'm taking a break from Nana because I find it utterly depressing how sad Hachiko ends up. I need something romantic, funny, and without love triangles to take my mind off it. If there is like a two episode love triangle I can deal, but nothing where it is centered around it please. I usually like the simple nonparanormal school life/ slice of life stories, but recently I watched Kamisama Hajimemashita and I liked that one, so more like that would be fine just no Magical girl let me save the world with flowers type thing. I would also like a strong female character like Nana Osaki from Nana or Haruhi from OHSHC. Please no smut, ecchi, or anything that objectifies women like disproportionate breasts. Manga recommendations welcome.

    I have seen:

    Skip Beat (Awesome)

    Fruits Basket (fantastic)

    OHSHC (YAY!)

    Clannad (loved it)

Clannad After Story (All the feels)

    Angel Beats (great)

    Air (okay)

    both Kannons (meh)

Say I love you (really good)

    Kamisama Hajimemashita (good)

    Nana (Okayish)

    Ghost Hunt (spookie)

    Anohana (good)

    Chihayafuru (haven't finished yet)

    hiiro No Kakera (overdone themes)

La Corda D oro both seasons (okay)

    My little Monster (funny)

    Itazura na Kiss (A favourite)

    Toradora (touching)

Peach Girl (drama and love triangle blech!)

Hana yori Dongo (No just no)

    Kimi Ni Todoke (Pretty good)

    Inuyasha (great)

    Maid sama (manga was better)

These are all my romance animes, I have a huge Manga list but it won't fit on here. Thank you for the help!

  • Will beats music change it's ways?

So right now I have a yearly subscription to beats music, but I probably won't keep it after the end of this year because Beats won't let you add your own music to your music library. This is unfortunate because Beats doesn't have such an extensive music library available that I can get all the music I like from it. I would love to add the music I already own to this library so I could listen to all my music in the same place. Beats lacks, celtic rock, J-pop, K-pop, indie, and German music. I already own music from all of these genres but can't add it to my Beats library. Does anyone know if Beats will change and allow it's users to add their own music like Rhapsody or Google All Access? (The reason i'm not subscribed to these is because Rhapsodies app sucks and google's audio quality sucks)

  • Good K-Pop starter bands?

To be totally honest until recently I didn't know K-POP existed until I watched a documentary about it on Netflix. Now I am trying to get into K POP but don't know where to start. I don't like party music and while I will listen to artists that sing about love I would like them to sing about more than just one subject. Please recommend some good K pop or k rock bands for beginners (no rap or vulgarity).
