I just gave my two week notice at my first job, which I hated. My dad knew I hated it and knew I was looking for other jobs. So I haven't found a new job yet but decided to give my two week notice because school is starting and I wouldn't be able to focus if I spent all my time stressing over a job I hate. After I gave my notice (on Friday) I came home and my dad said "I don't care if you look for other jobs but I really don't want you quitting until you've found another one". What should I do? I feel like he is going to be mad at me if he knew I'm quitting and haven't found another job yet.

I just got my first job at the end of June. I absolutely hate it, I work at a vet clinic and I realized from working there, I do not like dogs (which I mainly work with, I clean and take them out) I want to quit really bad but since it's my first job and I've only been working there for 2 months I don't know if I should. If I look for other jobs and find one would it be okay to quit? I don't know if it will look bad when applying for other jobs

Lately, I've taken stand-up comedy as an interest. But I need help on how to write good jokes. I'm just having trouble writing my own jokes that I think are funny. I look at other comedians and wonder how they write such good, funny jokes.

I am watching the original series, and I know I will watch the next generation. I will also watch all of the movies, but I am wondering if I should watch Deep Space 9, Enterprise and Voyager. Are they worth my time? I want to know because that is a lot of time and I don't want to waste it. Thanks

I want people to know who I am not for fame and money and junk like that, but so I can teach like Dr. Tyson does. Any answers would be appreciated.

He resembled the night stalker but I checked all of his costume and customization options and none of them looked like this guy. Can anyone tell me who this character is and how to get him please?

This year my school is going to Canada for a music trip, and it is $900. Are there any ways to make money for this trip? We are having fundraisers and stuff but I really want to go on this trip and I'm not allowed to get a job so I just want some ideas on making money to go on the trip.

I am in all honors and advanced classes in high school. I am always reading and studying physics, and astronomy in my free time and I finished a whole years worth of algebra in less than two months my 8th grade year. Yet my family is always saying that I'm stupid and that I'm not smart. And not in a joking way, but in a serious manner. I am the most advanced in my studies out of all my siblings but all my family still thinks that I'm dumb. Why?

I really like science and to be more specific physics. I have been reading a lot on the topic of physics (astrophysics, theoretical physics, important people in the physics community etc.) but I am worried that I don't know enough for my age. I want to be able to help people with their physics problems and answer questions for them and eventually become a physicist. I am in high school and I was wondering if I need to learn most of the information my own or if the physics classes in high school and college will teach me the majority. I still will read and learn on my own, I just feel like I am really far behind and I don't know as much as I should. Please no rude comments.
