Moving local access database (accdb file) to web?
I have created a simple stand-alone Access database application (exe file) in vb.net and it works well on my computer with the target Accdb file (with two linked tables) on the server. I would like to convert or migrate this db/app to a web solution using the Sharepoint. What is the best and simplest (or most efficient) way to migrate/move the accdb file to a sharepoint and still use the application (exe file) locally on each user computer ?... Thanks in advance for your reply.

Through some unusual & unpredicted circumstances I just became a shareholder of a corporation (the corporation asset is a commercial building recently purchased) where there are three shareholders including myself. I own 5% of the share whereas the other two shareholders have 47.5% each. Can the other owners sell the commericial property without my consent ? If so, what happens to my share ?... What are my other legal rights in the absent of any shareholder agreements ?

1 AnswerCorporations9 years agoDrink and Drive charge in Ontario?
I have been charged with drink & driving three weeks ago in Ontario. My first court date is set at the end of this month.
The charge was "Failed to provide breath sample" on the roadside breath test.
I was sent home instead of the police station for the further breath test which I heard was unusual(maybe because the policeman thought I appeared to be OK). As soon as the the tow-truck driver dropped me off at my house, I went back to pick up my car (with my wife driving) and immediately to the nearest police station for possible retest (I only had a couple of beers that night), but the police station was already closed (around 2:30 AM). I then made an appointment with a doctor in the following days, and the doctor told me that I have a throat infection which explained my discomfort in blowing. What should I do ? Do I really need to hire a lawyer (for $5000) for my case ? I heard that the real evidence police can use is the breath test conducted at the police station and not the roadside test. I have a clean driving record in the past 35 years and if the charge can be reduced to careless driving for first-time offence, I rather not spend $5000 for hiring a lawyer. All the experts out there Please help me !!! Thanks in advance for your replies.
3 AnswersLaw Enforcement & Police1 decade agoRefusing or Failing to provide breath sample - Impaired driving?
What is the standard procedure for the arresting police officer when the driver failed to provide a proper breath sample with the protable testing device on the road ? Do they always send the driver to the police station for the 2nd test (or jail) or can they just release the driver after the license suspension and the court date notice ? What is the legal implication if the driver was:
1. sent to the police station
2. sent home with the tow truck driver
5 AnswersLaw Enforcement & Police1 decade agoimpared driving charge - failed or refusal to breath test?
I have been stopped by police last night 12:25 AM and my license has been suspened for failed breath test. I tried to blow three times but the officer said I am not doing it properly so I received the offense "Failed or Refused to Demand". Police did not send me to another police station the tow truck driver dropped me off at my house. My car was towed away but I called my sister and picked it up immediately. My sister then suggested that if I honestly had two bottles of beer I should go to a nearby police station and ask for a retest before it's too late. We then went to the nearest police station (around 2:00 AM) but one officer adviced us to either to explain it to the judge on the court date or go to the police station where the charging officer belongs to bring up any issue/retest there. So we drove to the police station which is further up north but the police station was closed (I always believed that police stations and hospitals are open 24 hours a day). I would appreicate very much any helpful legal advice or recommendations. What should I do ? Do I need a lawyer ? I have never been charged with impared drving nor any serious offense in my life. Thank you in advance for your reply.
2 AnswersLaw Enforcement & Police1 decade agoWhy do some people argue for the sake of argument ?...?
For example, if I say "I think the commentator should have been more careful about what he says in front of camera especially when millions of people are watching." (this was about the NBC sports commentator bluntly making accusations without a solid proof during the Beijing Olympic games) I get a reply "Are you sure millions of people are watching ?". I then ask in response "If I had said thousands of people are watching, would that make any difference to you ?.. To me it doesn't make any difference..." (BTW, was I being rude by responding this way or maybe confrontational ?) I get another stupid reply like "If you are not sure don't say it, and that's my point.". It just goes on and on like this. How do you explain the psychology of this person ?
