  • Running to get fit/loose weight?

I'll admit I am completley out of shape, so was going to try some running to get a bit fitter. Am I better trying to run a set distance say 1-2 miles and mix it up between running and walking or running a shorter distance and not having walking breaks in it?

  • I ordered something off the internet and?

It says they dont ship until all the items are in stock, which according to them is in one months time.

However, they have taken payment now. While I have no problem with this as my credit card payment will be due after delivery. Is there any laws saying if they have taken payment they have to deliver the goods by a certain date?

  • Best Answer Votings on yahoo?

Just curious, when you have replied sensibly and accuratly to a question. Do you find it funny when someone picks an incorrect answer as the best answer. Now when the question is whos better Lady Gaga or cheese I can understand but when the question is something serious, seems strange to me

  • Man City and the racist abuse?

Not to be flippant, but couldnt any booing by a home team against a team from another country be called racist abuse? So any booing in the Champions or Europa leauge could be racist.

And while I am at it am I being naive that why would the shouting of a few thousand idiots who you earn more than in one week than they do in a year really upset you that much?

  • What does being British mean ?

After reading all the bumf about the falklands wanting to remain british, or people saying keep britain for the british, what does it really mean to be british?

That we speak the same language, english, but isn't that a big mixture of lots of different languages. Also don't some welsh, scots and even cornish speak another language but are also british.

Is it dependent on being born here, or being descended from British people. If so how far do you go back and how far do you go trace your ancestry back to the normans, anglo saxons, romans, celts?

Food do you have to live on just english food, hmmmmm yorkshire puddings. But what about curry is that not british?

Do British people have to be CoE, but isnt that based on a Semitic religion, so should we all be druids/pagans?

  • Am I confused about racism?

After watching Anrgy Boys, it seems that the white Aussies use the term Abo a bit, which I always thought was racist. but then again I;m not an aussie.

Then you have all the fuss over Luis Suarez, which got me thinking

Now in my mind, I can say the black guy over their, my friend the black guy or even you black ****. Depending on the intention of what I am saying, like if I called a black friend a black **** joking that would be ok, in that context no different to saying a baldy or fat ****.

However, if I am to say I like how woman of mixed South East Asia/European looks would that make me racist or is it just sexist.

  • Are their any Premier Footballers who?

you think are actually nice people you would want to know and be friends with?

As you hear all the rumours of what they did and all the nonsense in the press. And you would think all premier footballers are shagging, cheating, lying, racist, drinking, drug taking machines.

Um Scholes, good player but bit of a shitehouse and ginger and a manc, although keeps himself to himself. Anyone else?

  • Benefits Capping Question?

Theres lots of talk about having a £26k per year cap on benefits.

So does this mean that there will be cuts to the civil list for the Royal Family? Its not like they can't work and £8 million is way over the £26k limit

  • Tax Rates just a thought?

At least in the UK and I assume in the rest of the world the more you earn the more tax you pay.

People always say they don't pay enough tax and the rich pay too little. Which is a difficult thing to solve, ignoring tax avoidance and evasion.

If you could start the tax system all over again, wouldn't it be a good idea to reverse the banding. I mean a high rate for low earners and then decreasing the more you earn.

Ok if you did it now the low earners would be screwed, me included! But if we forget that for a moment wouldn't that make people want to better themselves and earn more, as I cant understand why people say "I don't want a pay rise as it means I will have to pay more tax"

  • Oh no another Suarez/Dalglish Question?

Didn't Dalglish mentioned after Suarez had been found guilty that there was things they knew but couldn't say about it?

Paddy Barclay tweeted recently in response to the medias portrayal of Suarez as being racist that it wasn't always the journalists fault/opinion.

What did he mean? Is it right there was pressure from somewhere that Britain had to be seen as whiter than white (oops), I mean seen in the right light due to the Olympics being held here this year?

  • If Redknapp (or another Englishman)takes the England Job?

They take over just before the Euros, fail to get out of their group. Press states it was the FA/Capellos fault, as he didn't have enough time to prepare the squad.

Fast forward to 2014, england fail to qualify for World Cup. Press have turned on england manager, revert to calling him hhumorousnames, they declare that English managers are not good enough and call for a world class manager.

Mourinho appointed, england the perform poorly at the Euro 2016 finals. As players state they dont get on with him. Press call for Jose to be sacked and that we need an english manager who understands what it means to play for england.

Then the cycle continues. Am I going to be right and should we not but some of the blame on the players? Is it that much of a hardship to go play in a world/euro finals and not see your family for a couple of weeks

  • Falkland Islands Argentine or British?

I was thinking to myself, both countries have a claim to the Islands. I get the feeling the UK government say that they will only give it to Argentina if the Falklanders dont want to be British anymore.

Now as in Argentina, there seems to be lots of people who can claim EU citizenship through their ancestory (or maybe that is just footballers with dodgy passports). Why dont Argentina get say 6000 Argentines get EU passports and then move to the Falklands and force, vote and win a referendum on giving the Falklands to Argentina?

  • Harry Redknapp for England?

With Harry not turning up at Anfield and the FA upset with Capello.

Does this mean that Harry's getting the England job tomorrow?
