We have a new oven that has a bread proofing setting....it is 30 degrees hotter than what the room temperature is....

My wife has family that lives in Chicago and more family that lives in North Carolina....they almost always stop at our house as it is about half way between the two branches of the family.....I am good with that even though we have a small house. (and have been good with it for 36 years.........)

very soon we will be starting an addition on our house...it is a very complicated construction project.

It is time of the year to go back to NC for the Decoration Day....their family always has a reunion and decorate the graves at the family cemetery..... The problem is my wife told them they could stay here....even though we had discussed this and I told her there was no where for them to sleep...all of our furniture is on the second floor as the first floor will be gutted and all of the finished flooring and plaster will be gone...the bathroom on the first floor will not be operational, the kitchen will be gone....her nephew called last night and as she was talking to him I was telling her there was no where to put them she told him that we would find a place to put an air mattress......there is no place....we got into a heated discussion about the situation.....we ended up at if she doesn't call them and tell them we can't bed them down here I am calling the contractor and canceling the job....I retired from construction and I know what kind of mess it is going to be...she works in a hospital as a respiratory therapist she doesn't understand construction....

I told her I will be doing good just to get the work done that I am going to do on this project much less having to sort this place out so the in laws have a place to sleep....when we go to NC we go to a motel or camp out in our van........ I like for her family to visit but this is the wrong time and she is making it out like I am being mean........

We will be making the trip down to NC for Decoration but we are taking a dome tent and going to sleep in it....when you have 20-30 people converge on three small houses down there sleeping space is at a premium....I got lucky one year and snagged a recliner........

Do any of the bird breeders on here know who sells untamed iodine....for years I have used it when eggs pip but don't hatch.......I tried Foy's and they said the Feds had taken it off of the market.....

I have a breeder pair of Greys. I blocked off their nest box in Jan 09 because I was going to England for an extended stay. They have raised me some wonderful babies. Now they won't breed. I allowed them back into their box for a year now. I have tried every trick that I know and haven't had any luck.

They are a wild caught pair from the Congo. The almost never come out of their box when I am in the bird building. Then the came out of their box for about three weeks. I hadn't seen them out in their cage that much since I bought them six years ago. Then they went back to their regular routine. They have finished up their moult and still nothing. I have sixteen pair of Amazons and almost every pair either has eggs or working the box.

I have just got a invite for a weekend Derby party. I need a easy to make orderve for Friday evening. I have a great recipe for a dish for Derby Day. I am a fairly good cook. My wife turned the duty over to me about 15 years ago. We have never been to said party and don't even have an idea of what they usually have. I do know it is a very huge gig. Any good ideas out there?

I had a friend install I-tunes on my computer. The Window Video player never worked right after that. When you try to play a wmv. the sound is there but the picture is reduced to just a small purple triangle in the lower left corner. Any suggestions? My son in law had the same problem. He doesn't remember what he done to fix it?

Can I take a hard drive from a Compaq Presario PC and install it in a Acer Aspire PC. I had a problems with the Compaq. I have a cable in the wrong place on the mother board. I would rather just rob the whole hard drive and be done with it. I kept the Acer as a back up and the CP went crazy. Now that I have been using the back up computer for several months I only really need the info on the other hard drive not the entire computer. Any help out there?

Why can't I let it go?

My wife of 35 yrs. recently told me she had lost her virginity to her brother in law when she was 14 yrs old. She was staying with her sister and him for the summer to help out with a new baby so her sister could go back to her 2nd shift job. She said he started grabbing and rubbing her every time her sister wasn't in sight. Two weeks before she was due to leave they had sex. Then they had sex every night that her sister worked until she left for home.

My wife was the youngest of nine children. Her parents were uneducated back woods people who didn't' dare mention the word sex in front of the children. She said that the only thing that she knew of sex was that was how people got pregnant. (If you knew her family you could understand.)

I can't understand how a 14 yr old girl can go from not even knowing anything about sex to being a screw toy for a 38 yr old man. (brother in law) He even boasted to her that she was the 7th virgin that he had had since he had been married.

We recently attended a funeral in her sisters home town. It amazed (amazes) me how she can interact with her sister and tell her that she loves her? (I also regret not going to the cemetery to piss on his grave.)

After 35 yrs. I feel like I don't know her now! This goes in the face of everything I hold dear and sacred. I detest anyone who can't abide by their marriage vows. I have been very depressed and even thinking of suicide since she has shared this info with me. I sit around and cry. I just can't get this out of my mind. I just can't fathom how a 38 yr old man could seduce a kid like this? She was just out of middle school. If he was still alive I would have to kill him. My wife will not explain how he man gaged to seduce her. I can't get this out of my mind. When I wake up at night the first thought in my mind is how could this have happened? I would give my soul to the devil to make this go away! This is literally eating me alive. HELP!

Please no stupid come backs. I am truly anguished by this and need answers. I am at wits end.

This guy attacked and shot my father in law twenty years ago. The thing was my father in law had his gun also and killed this bas**rd in self defense.

My wife was seduced and raped by her brother in law when she was just 14 years old. She was staying with them to help out with a new baby so her sister could go back to work. She stayed with them for six weeks and he started on her the first day by inappropriate touching. Then when it got further along he told her that if she was to tell anyone that her father would kill the two of them. (Her father had actually shot two different people. He also a few years later killed this fellow in self defense.) She said she also felt that no one would believe her if she were to tell.

My question is this, " Was this guy a pedophile or a rapist. I understand that by the letter of the law he was a rapist. She was 14 and in the North Carolina that is rape anytime. He also bragged to her that she was his seventh virgin that he had had. He was 36-40 yrs old when this happened. He has been dead for fifteen years and I just recently found out about this. I have been sick to my stomach with anger since the revelation was made. I am the only person other than my wife that knows anything about this. Help!
